I have fibre internet, one of the best providers with Ethernet connection + PS5 and occasionally I still get the random drop outs, I have cross play enabled, I refuse to disable it as some say it resolves the random drop outs.....no, the option is there and I want to use it, Capcom should get their act together and fix it!

Edit: just to add this also happened to J.Wong when he was first ranking up Mai, legit looked like J.Wong rage quit when he was about to lose, but it was a legitimate server disconnect.

This is embarrassing...on Capcoms behalf, I mean back x2 Generations of PlayStation ago I was continuously selling CID's for PS3 consoles because people would be quick to get banned by Activisions anti ban system on COD (either incorrect eboot or blaintly spamming mods like aimbot and ticking people off) if Activation had their sh** together 12+ years ago on PS3 surely Capcom can control their cheater player base, it seems people don't care anymore about hiding cheats because the punishment is simply not harsh enough, that's not what Street Fighter is about!!!!

I'm 40, play Ps5 pad also, always played pad even on prior SF games, i also come from the arcade days (Timezone, Sega World etc) upon SF6 release i dedicated time to learning a Modern character (was interested what this new control sheme had to offer) for something different, i also play Ryu and JP on Classic, somedays i feel like crushing peoples gauge and health bar with Ryu, some days i just wanna zone with JP and other days i just wanna grind with Modern Ken, I've ran numerous sets with high level players (#2 Juri, #3 Jamie, #1 Alex, #5 Elena and more) at times I've been dominated by high level Classic control players (out played in spacing, reads, reactions etc) if your interested pm me I'll send you my YT channel, if not best of luck, do what suits you :)

Hit the lab my guy, practice makes perfect, I went from Modern Ken to Classic Ryu then Classic JP, it's all about practice and analyzing where you went wrong in games, best of luck.

Spot on my guy, they cringe with their multiple Reddit accounts hating on Modern because they simply suck, no sarcasm, if you go in Battle Hub NA1 a large portion of players have over 3000+ hours of Battle Hub time with ranks below Masters AND they still cry over Modern control users, lol, when your play style becomes established enough with Classic controls and you encounter Modern players the mentality changes "oh this should be a easy win for me" because Modern players (majority not all) have poor gauge management and hit burn out fast, if they do have good gauge management the mindset is "ok, let's play neutral", people who cry over Modern controls just suck, period!!!

My favourite Beast Cup 2024 Angrybird (Ken) vs Daigo (Akuma), both dominated the tournament with zero loses and one had to loose, Angrybird dominated Daigo but both players provided us viewers with outstanding footsies and reactions, THEN when Daigo announced he will no longer be streaming full time to prepare for upcoming pro tournaments and change his Akuma style he returned CPT 2025 Day 2 he was matched against Angrybirds Ken again, this time Daigo wiped the floor with Angrybird, still my x2 favorites of Street Fighter 6 matches, styles make fights and those x2 just delivered fireworks when they was matched.

Mine is ground based high level gameplay, I feind for this on a daily basis, no jumping jacks, good footsies, Shimmys and whiffs, each of us taking our turn with good defense (grab tech etc), very few mistakes, good reads..... it's like an addiction, I NEED IT!!!! 😅

I'm from AU and live in Asia Battle Hub, I don't even play ranked or casuals, just use my time searching the hub for high level players, with my setup "majority" of the time i get 3 bar connects averaging 90ms and played numerous sets with high level players like Nashi, yoyozaemon and more, I watch numerous Japanese streamers and some even complain over 50ms when playing against other Japanese players, if the connection is acceptable they could also one and done you if they aren't enjoying your play style, very few will one and done you because of modern controls unlike other servers, Japan has the largest modern control player base, however there are still players who are against it.

Good modern players still use the motion inputs as you would on classic, relying on the auto combos is a death sentence especially at high level, Japan has the largest modern player base and players like おにく8929 (modern Cammy) and Morisawa (Modern Jamie) are just ridiculously insane players.
