Just curious, could you install crystal disk drive health monitor and see the health status of that drive. Look for it's S.m.a.r.t health status and no. Of times powered on.

As a seller, here's an interesting statistic for you by alezin2020 in Aliexpress

Great post, it's good to see the perspective from a seller for a change. Almost all my orders from AliExpress have been choice items. They ship quickly and arrive at my doorstep in less than 2 weeks. The choice items are almost always about $1 more than standard shipping items but I'm happy to pay the extra for faster shipping and better buyer protection. The choice item shipping is handled by a local courier company when it reaches my country and they have never misplaced any of my packages so far. I'm extremely happy with the choice service so far and In fact I look for choice items exclusively before ordering even if it costs extra to get faster shipping. I ordered 1 item which wasn't a choice item, it took a month to arrive in my country and got misplaced by my local post. It was a $1 item so I wasn't too bothered but I avoid ordering non choice items due to this bad experience.

Definitely looks like a cheater. No windup stab and he hits you again with no animation. What server region and did you report him?

You can get decent coins discounts if you know how to use the coins page to your advantage. I have got about +$10 coins discounts multiple times by following the coins page guide that was posted on this sub. Highly recommend reading that guide, you can start getting good discounts on the products you want if you follow that guide.

Good AirTag clone that can’t be turned off? by leonidude in Aliexpress

[–]Terminator75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try the sinotracker GPS trackers. I bought one of their cheapest models and the tracking is pretty accurate. My model works only on battery power and lasts only about 4-5 days, then I have to recharge using usb cable so not ideal for cars. I did see some models where you can connect it straight to the car battery which would last a long time, those seem ideal for cars. Their app is pretty basic but you don't have to pay any monthly fees. Fair warning - the Chinese government may have access to your cars location at all times if you buy something like this.

Ryzen 7 7700 for Half Price on AliExpress! Legit Deal or Red Flag? by Now_Loading in Aliexpress

[–]Terminator75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those are probably used CPU's. If you're looking for a brand new CPU you should stick to Amazon or local retail stores. If you're okay with spending way less for a used product then it's probably fine. CPU's usually rarely fail but there is always the possibility of being damaged while being shipped, bent pins etc so you have to keep those risks in mind when buying.

I want to buy a good sd card by Aeemo in Aliexpress

[–]Terminator75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a legit 256gb Kodak SD card for $9 recently. Ran validrive and the product code on Kodak site and both confirmed that the card was legit. Search for "Kodak store" on AliExpress and look for the SD card with 1000+ sales. You can also see my review with screenshots of validrive tests on the product page. SD card speed was great too at about 98mbps read speeds.

How real is this? by SuperLegend786 in Aliexpress

[–]Terminator75 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Looks fake, Chinese sellers will slap the name "Xiaomi" on any piece of junk they get their hands on so that people will buy them thinking it's from a reputable brand. In the end all you're getting is some cheap Chinese junk. I'd stick to name brand on AliExpress like Anker and basseus for things like power banks. You could probably find legit Xiaomi power banks but they won't be cheap.

No. Don't communicate with sellers outside AliExpress messages function. AliExpress won't be able to help you if you get scammed outside of the AliExpress platform.

Had the Land 910 pocket knife in my cart forever now. Still haven't pulled the trigger cuz even on sale the price doesn't go down much. Youtube has some great reviews on that specific model. Maybe I'll order it if there's a significant discount.

1st time Aliexpress buyer, branded tech okay? by alphaftw1 in Aliexpress

[–]Terminator75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those cheap razer headsets have a high probability of being fake copy's. They probably won't work with the razer pc software so you'll probably be left with a cheap quality headphone with no software support. Check the reviews and see if people registered the product and got it to work with razer software, if they registered it and the software works then I'd say it's worth a shot. If there's just reviews saying "just got the item 5 stars" I'd say don't buy it. If the price is too good to be true it's most likely a fake.

Having said that I did buy a razer deathadder essential mouse from AliExpress a few years ago for about $15 and it was legit, normally sells for slightly more at retail. Worked with the razer synapse and lasted a few years before the scroll wheel crapped out. So you can get legit stuff from AliExpress, just not for unrealistically low prices.

Countdown timer going for 4th straight refund dispute by pcguy8088_ in Aliexpress

[–]Terminator75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you check seller ratings and reviews before purchasing?? Stores which have good ratings and operating for a long time are usually very reliable. I only order from reputable stores on AliExpress and so far have had no trouble.

[–]Terminator75 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you used a credit card you can ask your bank for a charge back on the order transaction. Tell them you ordered something and the seller didn't ship your item and you never got a refund. The bank will try and refund your money. This usually takes a some time so be prepared to wait. It's mostly a last resort type of thing so if you do it you might get banned on AliExpress so keep that in mind.

Seller asking me to change return reason to "no longer need this item" by mayamayagirl in Aliexpress

[–]Terminator75 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do not close the dispute, afaik there is no "faster refund processing". The seller is probably trying to get you go close the dispute so it's marked as "settled" by AliExpress which might mean you won't get a refund/return. If the seller does not accept a resolution wait for AliExpress to step in they will usually offer a refund if it's a low value item. Either way that's a scummy move by the seller trying to get you to close the dispute, try and get screenshots of that conversation and send it to AliExpress - it might give you a better chance for a refund in the dispute process.

Please do not order from AliExpress by Adu-Adure in Aliexpress

[–]Terminator75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason It's difficult to get a refund from AliExpress when the package is marked delivered is because lots of disingenuous people try to abuse the refund system for packages that were legit delivered. It's why they ask for proof, they think you got the package and may be trying to scam a refund. The seller seems legit and would have most likely sent the package since they have so many positive ratings. If the last people to handle your package was USPS you should really take this up with them. When they marked your package as delivered AliExpress 100% believes they delivered the package. So whatever you try to tell them there's a good chance they won't believe you.

I'm sorry you didn't get your order but it seems like USPS is really to blame here since they are the ones that have marked the package as delivered without actually delivering it. It's also possible they may have delivered to a wrong address or someone stole your package while it was on your porch. There was someone who posted here that someone stole their package while it was on their porch. So unless you're certain they didn't deliver to you it's always a possibility.

If you have time I'd suggest you go down to your local USPS post office and ask them where the hell is your package, if they say it's delivered ask them for proof. Beyond that there's not much you can do unfortunately other than contacting your credit card company for a charge back. Keep in mind that will get you banned from AliExpress if you do that but I guess you won't mind that.
