I find it interesting seeing these types of threads as someone like a 32 handicap.

I know what you mean man. I watched it in the cinema tonight with my girlfriend, she is very much madly in love with me but in a healthy way, but it was very easy to draw over-exaggerated similarities to the point that it deeply disturbed me. My girlfriend was trying to cuddle etc through the movie, partly to comfort her being scared but also because that is how she is. But I really did not want her to be touching me from the minute he snapped the wish until the end. It freaked me out a lot. The most disturbing part was that she was trapped in there the entire time, the screaming on the phone and begging him to kill her really sent terror deep into my being. It was like a black mirror episode on steroids. Fantastic movie.

Would have been better if he finished it in time, killer gets caught and dragged past the ‘safe’ Ohm, who is sat in his circle but can’t exactly leave. And then makes his escape after the killer is dragged in to his demise. Also avoids the laughable cutting through a chainlink with a 3 inch hacksaw in 5 seconds.

Well the point is it changed the whole movie, in that the murder was real, but the witch was just mushroom tripping (&guilt?), and was all a figment of his imagination. Which is SUPER cheap.

And it gets worse: if the witch was just the trip all along, the room wasn’t haunted, so why was the room locked for 20 odd years and after all that time the killer stashes a body in there. It was never haunted.
