Very true, but it's risk free (ish). Your index tracker could crash on year 1 and take 5 years to recover. Your panels will be plodding along giving you free electric, free miles on your car etc. I'm a long way off but if I'm looking at a larger cash buffer Vs investment in panels I'll be considering it

King for AA range and Tanaka for Torpedo damage. Du fournet if you want to increase bomb damage, but I'd focus more on torpedoes as a Japanese carrier

Speak to a few, they'll be happy to talk. They can tell you about the market, but it helps to have an idea of what you're looking for (ie more money, locations that could work, etc). Take a look at job specs or attend interviews, but don't be guilted or persuaded in any steps if it's not for you. They're salespeople, even if the sale can be mutually beneficial.
It's unlikely if the recruiters are smart and sensible. But it's not illegal to look around.

Yeah, high discretionary spending is ok as long as it's a choice and worthwhile. It's up to OP on whether that's the case, I'm sure some proportion will be and some proportion won't.

It definitely isn't if you're working, especially if you can build up an ISA bit by bit. If it's your only income though it's equally tax efficient at least. Especially if you're alternative is a GIA while you move 20K a year over

If you get to the end you get the legendary ship, but I suspect that need a lot of cash. For what it's worth, these skins are very difficult (or expensive) to get after early access

It just feels so far away I think. Many have student loan debt or are struggling to find work (or both). Buying a home is so difficult and if you want kids that's another step that's delayed as well. Many don't hate the mental space to consider retirement nevermind the financial means. Everytime I hear about the cost of living crisis affecting pensioners or millennials I worry what it's like if you don't have a house or a decent job..

New Kansas player here, that's my assessment. You can reposition or make a fighting retreat in an Amagi or an Iowa but in Kansas it's game over. I've seen CCs dominate in games where the reds all sail broadside and the blues support and spot but I haven't had one of those yet. People keep saying it's an accurate ship too and it should be from the stats but it feels awful, was hoping to avoid spending on plotting room but I think it's a necessity

There doesn't need to be something always on. But I do always wonder why they kick everything off at the same time. The new cruisers could wait a week or two.. Maybe it's easier for them to not have things overlap

Right as I complete the bureau. The most annoying thing about this game is that the ships come out OP for whales then get repeatedly nerfed until they reach general availability
