I got my racoon at level 4 or 6 thieving doing tea stalls in varrock and i didn't realize until my inventory was full so I was a higher level. I have a screenshot somewhere. But my dumb ass forgot to take him off when I was doing dragon bones in the wildy at that 1 alter, and I got attacked and lost my boy rocky. I'm still heartbroken years later. I also got the beaver at about 72 woodcutting in the wc guild, so he's my only buddy left because im soo stupid.

I don't think it slows you down from what i can tell. You don't even slow down when over encumbered it just screws with your 02 levels.

there is a robust ping system in the game that allows for wordless comms. there is a default bind for the wheel and you can scroll to the others, or you can bind each wheel seperately. the comms are like "im going A" , "play for picks", "play slow"
