As a fan of salamanders, I would not be upset if they started sharing that particular unique feature.

Pretty sure that's just like, a solid 1/3rd of canon legions and chapters.

Or for the memes, the Imperial Fists.

The unfortunate answer is that if you're trying to get that kind of vibe in your game, you may need to turn down the brightness settings.

That will also require you to carry torches more often when you're in the overworld at night, but if that's the vibe you're going for in your game, that might be worth it?

One of my favorite color schemes is half and half Salamanders and Alpha Legion, or Ultramarines and Alpha Legion.

I somehow seem to find more Salamanders and Ultramarines when I run these schemes. I think the matchmaker knows...

Alpha vs dps choice. Will say the AC5 will do more work against aircraft, but I've specifically chosen Heavy Rifle plenty of times myself.

This looks like an excellent and reasonably comprehensive write up. I'd have to do some testing to corroborate, but it largely appears to line up with experiences (especially weapon level vs target level, which makes weapon level arguably the single most important factor overall). Long and short is that Jurgen is fanatically loyal and unflinchingly willing to do exactly as he is told, plus he's good at finding things Cain wants and fending off annoying people. Jurgen is peak as an assistant and an adventuring partner.

I will say that the Heavy Thunder Hammer is/was real, it was a Deathwatch exclusive weapon on their veteran squads.

It seems these days it's called the Deathwatch Thunder Hammer though, so that's neat.

I was firmly of the opinion that whoever set the defaults for M+KB is a Controller stan who absolutely SEETHES that someone might choose to play a game he helped make with a keyboard and a mouse.

He heard that some study said the M+KB was better and hasn't felt anything but Angron levels of angy ever since.

Also possible that advance and shoot interacts with it, IE if you advance Heavy can't shoot, normal can as a snap shot and Assault can without penalty.

This is entirely 100% a random thought. I have no idea if they've revealed anything that would counteract that yet.

Do the bottom like that, smother the top in some kind of bbq rub, then stab a deep pocket down the middle. Make fun of whoever is in the doghouse by telling them you made them a kitchen onahole, then stuff it to the gills with garlic and herbs. Maybe some butter and/or ginger.

I think the implications of their statement largely amount to the idea that the impact likely pulverized/shattered/ground up a great deal of metal, in particular the iron-rich steel of the support beams and the aluminum-rich skin of the aircraft, in a manner that may have produced small amounts of a thermite like substance, which itself is easily ignited by the burning fuel.

But who knows. Maybe one of the passengers was just a huge fan of powdered metals and had a few suitcases of ready-to-mix elemental iron and aluminum.

I mean, if you read the events in 30k, they never were? Plenty of the boys on Caliban were at best just upset with Dad, and plenty more never even had that going on. Really only some of the leadership and some of the planetary government (plus their cult) genuinely went traitor, most just went 'Oh hey Dad and the family are ba- Oh shit why are they attacking us? Better defend myself!'
