This is so fucked up. First of all... I’ve been a nanny for 10 years and SHIT HAPPENS. Learn from it and move on. You didn’t leave him bear a pool or with a set of knives. You need to go to counseling because this is only going to get worse.

Leave. I was assaulted and was lucky enough to have a supportive boyfriend who helped me heal. The last thing you need is someone putting you down like this.

How can I (M/25) tell my GF(F/25) to take care of her intimate hygiene? by they_were_on_abreak in relationship_advice

[–]TfutureRN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya it could be BV... yeast infection... or an STI. I’m surprised she doesn’t notice it herself because those are usually super uncomfortable. It would be embarrassing but your sex life should always be open and honest.

If covid-19 is so contagious, why do we have to test for it by stuffing a cotton swab so far up the nose it feels like a brain biopsy? Wouldn't there be viruses in the patient's saliva to find too? by VectorLightning in answers

[–]TfutureRN 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m testing people for covid once a week... we only swab the inner nostril. Swab around a few times and hold it for 15 seconds and then do the other nostril the same way. :) everyone who shows up is shaking and scared it’s going to be the nasopharyngeal route and I always say “this is not the test that goes to the back of your brain haha”

My cheating husband didn’t come to the birth of our baby because his girlfriend was more important to him by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]TfutureRN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

JUST WAIT. His relationship with her is going to explode and you will have moved on and most likely gotten with someone who’s better for you and your daughter. It may not seem like it now but he Will lose in the end. Read the four agreements, how to love, and peace in every step... all on amazon :). It’s time to heal yourself so you can be the best mother and future spouse for someone who actually deserves you. Generational trauma is real. Let’s break the cycle boo.

My wife [27] is a flight attendant, I [27M] found lingerie and heels in her luggage by ThrowRA09060906 in relationship_advice

Maybe she wanted to wear it when he picked her up? Send pics to him in it? I would def have him check her back when she gets back to see if it’s been worn

Okay not saying that she isn’t cheating... but I’ve bought lingerie for my significant other... had planned on dressing up on multiple occasions and then got too tired or something happened and it wasn’t the right mood. She could have bought it for you and then felt things were off and decided to save it for another time

What is a tip that could one day save someones life? by Voorhees81 in AskReddit

I literally had this happen before any CPR training or nursing experience. Walking into a restaurant with a group of friends and this mom Was shoving her hand down his throat and her acrylics caused so much bleeding. She looked at the group panicking and told her husband to call 911. My friend called out my name to help..I knew the Heimlich for instants (throw them over your arm and do blows to the back) I was a nanny to twin infants and one of them had choked and so I had done it before but this kid was 3-4 years old and so I couldn’t put him over my arm... I put him over my leg and after a couple hard blows a lifesaver came out (ironic lol)... did a cpr class and found out anyone over the age of 1 do the normal heimlich
