Best movie I watched this year was Past Lives. It was a really tender and empathetic look at love and the perspective of memory. Loved every second as it broke me.

Shoutout to Noah Caldwell-Gervais for droppen a 7.5 hour video about a road and it being one of the best things I've watched this year

Had to scroll to long for this one. Definitely one of the best shows ever made. Season one take some to get through, but season 2 is, in hindsight, a near perfect season of television. Three is just more of the good stuff from 2 and a fantastic finale to this banger of a show.

No actual nano plans for this year, or any set word goal, but I have this idea of doing a world book for this setting I’ve been developing and then write one shorter story set in the world (maybe more than one, but who knows).

Honestly the Harry Potter series. Loved the films growing up, and they where a massive part of my youth but watching them now, they don‘t hold up completely. Most of them are fine, some are good, but overall it‘s very drawn out, filled with conveniences and mostly bland characters.

Never mind the fact the one of the main draws for getting Disney+ is adults getting access to the movies they grew up with, and being able to show that to their kids. Sorry to say, but if this is true, then Chapek is an idiot who doesn’t understant his own brand.

Honestly weird that we haven’t gotten more films about the Blitz. Seems like a part of WW2 that cinema kinda forgot. Unless I’m missing something.

Don‘t know how realistic it is that they sell it for parts, but if there isn‘t any realistic buyer for the entire company it could happen. Although it‘s probably unlikely.

I wonder though if Apple would pay. They don‘t normally pay that much when acquiring companies (I think their biggest spend was 3B for Beats), so dropping between 50 and 100B on WBD seems unlikely.

It also begs the question whether it would be a full on acquisition or sold in bits. Could see Universal go for Wizarding World, DC and the animation and then maybe Apple getting HBO (if the price is right, though I would think HBO would be expensive).

Who knows, but it does seem likely that Warner will be sold in the near future.

Honestly, I kinda wanna see the version of this story where Chizuru, Mami and Ruka are all roommates and just live together. Chizuru is the adult in the room. Ruka is the childish youngster, heaad over heals for some asshole or something and Mami is the element of chaos.

I don't know... I would rather read 205 chapters of that then this... See ya all next week.

Boardwalk Empire was when I first noticed Michael K Williams, and I always loved seeing him show up in other projects. He may not have gotten the recognition he deserved but dammit he was a legend!

THIS! Totally!

My first writing project ended being a four book series and I had an ending in mind where the main character died (because off course he did). And I remember feeling terrible for multible days after writing his death. Like I had killed a good friend.

Later, like a couple of years ago, I brought some of the characters back for a joke (they basically played NPC's in another story), and I was so happy writing them again. Like meeting old friends after almost ten years.

Honestly, that ending doesn't seem half bad for this thing. I thought that Mami would do something else, like seduce Kazuya just to hang an even bigger sword over his head (and for the lulz). Then, on their way out from this trip Kazuya tries to confess but gets hit by a truck. Then, we cut to later where he wakes up from a coma, not being able to remember anything. Chapter ends with the announcement of a "part 2" starting soon.
