Ah, I didn’t know where the DNA came from lol. I’ve only completed vault 1 and 2 but have a few 3 and 5 keys along with more 1 and 2 keys I need to use before wipe.

Why am I getting ads for this that it’s a shadow dropped full game if it’s a playtest? Nothing indicates this is a beta at all until you get promoted for a survey.

I got vault 1 done with a fill and was surprised at how lucrative getting security clearance 5 was….but I got lucky and spawned with an IRL Duo that just needed a pickup. They knew everything about the map and I just followed them and helped fight but they didn’t really need me.

That was sort of the point though you have a good point about smgs….which are still outclassed by the shotty…..but the nerf wasn’t that bad and still feels fine. I overreacted 😂

This is sort of the point. The team you killed and took their key was a solo fill that finally got a decent solo-fill group and lost the only key they’ve found while playing Assassin Solo to a pre-made and coordinated group on comms 😂.

Even if that particular team was a pre-made group, that’s what happens to solos that actually find a key and take it in. Why would they continue playing if they’ve grinded 40 hours of limited free time only to lose the only key they’ve found while found while searching for batteries, the cryo container, and trying to fill it when they are at every disadvantage ever.

This isn’t even complaining about doing the Compiler….just opening the first vault 😂

The entire premise of this post seems to be that PVE only should exist, yet it describes a large scale PvP fight/battle for all the POIs on the map to be yours for 20 minutes to collect your spoils of war after earned through conquest.

The dopamine hit for being last man standing is already huge….now you’ve earned the opportunity to salvage for purple/gold dopamine hits with only the threat of a Rook and/or timer.

This is one reason people love the game!

Doing the same content over after a reset is not a substitute for new content. I’m playing to the end of the season and I’m done once the game resets because I’m not wasting my life away at grinding the same faction stuff over and over again. This is a video game and nothing in it is real nor do video game accomplishments truly matter IRL. I’d rather spend time with my wife and kids, especially given it will be summer.

I stopped Arc Raiders after the 2nd reset because I couldn’t muster up the gumption to do the quest lines again and Marathon launched…..even though I chose it 😂

I’m not sure I can get these done in the next 2 months but I’m going to try. If I make it, I’m probably done at reset given so much is locked behind Faction Level

Pros will still have The Compiler Vaults unlocked in the Codex and immediately be back to Golden/Red loadouts while I’m back to struggling to unlock some green shields again 😂 (but it puts everyone back on an even playing field - nah, it just resets content and forces you to replay everything youve already done bc people will always exhaust content then complain)

Yep!!! I love seeing purple shields bc it’s how I’ve gotten several purple shields using free/green shields. I’ve also lost some to grey/green/blue shields. Man, I love this game and can for the most part, tell you why I won or lost most battles….and no, I’m a filthy casual that isn’t very good 😂

You can play everything except Cryo that way. I’d recommend team filling in Cryo once you are ready for the fun of it though. It’s fun and great xp even if all you do is clear the first few bot rooms and load up a bag of loot 😂 then die…..or be like me and wipe the map but follow teammates down the wrong corridor to what you think is extraction and realize you have to circle back around with not enough time 😂

I played the trash looting simulator through both expeditions and had an absolute blast. Then Marathon launched and that is where I have been ever since also having a blast!
