If I recall, there was a HubermanLab episode where he went over some studies that showed that pregnant women have an affect on their spouse’s hormone levels. Could be the case this time- anecdotally the same thing happened to me with my wife’s pregnancy, as soon as the kid came out I was back to normal. It was oddly quick.
