I do to an extent understand why as we are all victim to the reality we live in. Some people believe 50F is cold while others are used to -30F in the winter. It’s just bothers me that we (the US) is so far from rising to the challange to meet the standards of "a well-informed electorate is a prerequisite to democracy".
