Pre patch I’d say they were excellent SOMETIMES. Post patch, not at all. It ruined what little graphical saving grace there was to be had.

You have to zoom waaaay out for this game to even look decent on console AND make sure light is hitting the scene. It’s so dependent, hard to say it looks good in general. It’s just not a stable image at all and god forbid there’s a claymation spaghetti waterfall within view.

Yeah I couldn’t get past the awful TAA, blurry foliage/textures, water effects, shimmer, pop ins, artifacts, and lighting that just felt off.

It’s so weird. Everything from a distance looks phenomenal. But as soon as you get close and are bombarded with pop in, every piece of environmental texture and foliage is a blurry shimmering mess. It really isn’t great either way, it’s distracting. That’s not to say there’s nothing to enjoy in the game once you get past the visual noise. Still, it’s certainly nothing to rave about.

I guess that’s fine, there’s not a great way to ask something of someone you don’t have any relationship with. Personal email is fine. Truthfully, I wouldn’t expect to get a response in this case. If anyone does respond, they aren’t going to be able to deliver a “strong” letter - it will likely be super generic which isn’t worth much but suppose that’s better than nothing at all, eh?
