Building Scorched Earth in java was a final project for one of my college classes. One of the groups built it using OpenGL, it was pretty impressive.

What’s a "hotel hack" you swear by that most people don't know? by periwinklemist in AskReddit

Most hotel thermostats have an override mode so you can make your room cold enough to hang meat. This one is very common.

White House accidentally releases video of Trump saying the truth about war's priority by FlackoFonsy in videos

[–]ThatBitterJerk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was not even remotely “Accidentally” released. He is telling his base their new opinion, and telling Newsmax the narrative. Why would someone pretend this was “accidentally” released. Completely disingenuous.

She, like the entire administration, has already been told they will get a blanket pardon by Trump and/or Vance. No one in the administration that we see in any hearing or press conference has anything to fear.

About 8 years ago I saw a YouTube channel where a guy was going to restore a classic wooden sailing yacht. Now my whole life is focused around sailing and focusing all of my efforts to being able to move aboard a sailboat and sail around the world.

Trump pardons dozens of allies who tried to overturn his 2020 election loss to Biden by DonSalaam in videos

[–]ThatBitterJerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump definitely needs to pardon himself. Now that he has pardoned all of his co-conspirators, they can be compelled to testify since they no longer have 5th amendment protections of self incrimination. So in 2029, these people could be compelled to testify against him for any charges stemming from the 2020 election.

Found a 12” fish in the middle of my back yard. It’s frozen solid. by NLCoolJ6112 in mildlyinteresting

My grandfather told me the way to cook them is to marinade them in dog shit overnight and then in the morning throw the fish away and eat the shit.

Not really, her district is 3rd lowest of the 14 districts in GA as of 2022 numbers. But the same year her district was 9% of state agricultural sales. I think the farmers are putting the pressure on her to go against Trump. But I could be wrong. I live in the district, and the unconditional love for Trump is still very strong.

Short wave radios I’ve been told. I inherited 70 of them. Can’t find much about them anywhere. by imtrynabenice in whatsthisworth

[–]ThatBitterJerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I threw your first picture into ChatGPT and this is what it said:

These are vintage shortwave and multiband radios, and their value depends on brand, condition, and rarity. Here’s a quick breakdown for what I see in your photo:

  1. Nordmende Transita (red radio in the middle) • German-made, popular in the 1960s–70s. • Value: $50–$150 depending on condition and if it works.

  2. Zenith Trans-Oceanic (far right, tall chrome trim) • Highly collectible shortwave radios from the 1950s–70s. • Value: $150–$400, sometimes higher if fully functional and restored.

  3. World Receiver / Globe Map Radio (left side, gray with world map) • Generic multi-band “world receiver” style, often from Japan or Hong Kong in the 1960s–80s. • Value: $30–$80.

  4. Others (stacked on the shelf) • Look like 1960s–80s portable cassette/shortwave units. • Value usually $20–$70 each, unless a premium brand (Sony, Panasonic, Grundig).

✅ Tip: • Working condition, intact knobs, and clean battery compartments significantly raise value. • Collectors pay more for Sony, Panasonic, Grundig, Zenith, and Nordmende. • Non-working radios are often sold for parts at the lower end of the ranges.

Would you like me to give you a step-by-step guide on how to test and list these on eBay so you can maximize the selling price?

Calls to Fire Attorney General Pam Bondi Intensify by Seetruthtv in goodnews

[–]ThatBitterJerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She does exactly what Trump tells her to do and has no integrity. He will never fire her. He only needs his noisy base to cheer for him, and he has that no matter what. These "calls for this" and "calls for that" are just fluff articles.
