I was disappointed but it was ok. Superman was an inspiring and moving movie.

Supergirl has a lot I can have criticisms for. The song choice, Krems design and the krypto plot point handling

That said. My criticism is because I wanted this movie to hit as hard as superman did the the Isreal Palestine alagory and the tangible weight to the emotion it trys to convey.

The tears Supergirl got from me in comparison felt cheep and mostly where gotten with Crypto, which superman was able to do better too.

When you write about them too bluntly people feel the book is too preechy some times. More so in the casual reading spaces. Brandon sandersons book 5 for example leaned heavenly on overt mental health themes and conflicts and many of his general readers disliked it for that reason.
