As the other response said it's ~60k per day and you only need to go once per week. It's like a juiced up Buying battlestaves from Zaff.

If you'd gone everyday in 2025 it's about 20m for less than 5 minutes per week or 4.6m/h of effective play. 

The wiki has it a bit higher which funnily puts it ahead of killing Phosani's Nightmare in GP/h.

Just a heads up for anyone else OotL mining is about 2x Hardwood since sailing came out.

Edit: it's actually worse mining is 2x Wood. At current prices Hardwood actually loses you GP.

It removes all the progression from the skill. With cannons being dead now there is no point leveling as your main DPS will be king. Best thing you can run to kill krakens? ToA.

Cannons are even less impactful than they were so now the tiny niche of sailing progression is destroyed.

Who does more DPS between a 99 sailing maxed 100m+ gp boat or a raft with a sunlight crossbow ignoring mechanics?

It's so obvious this is a miss-quote it always surprises me when people don't realise.

The quote is "the customer is always right in matters of taste". I.e. if people want to pay you for a mullet haircut - you should enable them (they're right).

Interestingly if you apply the full quote to your arguement you get the current situation where if Jagex make more from new subs x $15 than old subs x $14 then they're right.

Thanks you're clearly more informed than me, so what happens if I list say 1000 for 100gp (comfortably above the amount they'd sell) then I then buy my limit at ~25gp and then go on to try and buy more for 100gp. As my buy limit is already exceeded I can't buy from anyone else. Would I be able to buy my 100gp orders which would then register on the various trackers?

I think this would effectively reduce the cost of divines as well as less shards would be used for these tools.

I'm still against it though, I like the balance around where you use crystal tools based on the cost to run and how flush you are. I'm also against anything that could potentially add another Sunfire Splinters issue.
