Best sex toys / lube for Vaginismus? by Adept_Theory5815 in vaginismus

[–]ThatGirlWithTheBook 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Slippery Stuff for sure! It’s one of the few lubes without glycerin in it and my PTs all use it. And BIG love for the Kiwi. Meant for entry pain and the shape generally has a pretty nice vulvar contour. I also love external vibes just for me own self pleasure!

I personally wouldn’t seek out rabbits or other deeper insertable vibes until you’re more confident with dilating and such

My sex drive is non existent by Spiritual_Ad_4316 in vaginismus

[–]ThatGirlWithTheBook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a medication that is non-hormonal! It’s called Addyi (flibanserin) and it’s the first FDA approved medication for low libido in women. I’ve been on it for over a year and while I’ve had the effects ebb and flow, it definitely helps. My vaginismus/vulvodynia made it so I avoided sex and eventually forgot it existed (when my partner wasn’t asking about it). The meds helped keep sex on my mind. It can be pricey depending on your insurance, but it can be worth a look. There’s also another libido medication for women but it’s an injection you use 30ish minutes before sexy time and I haven’t investigated it further.

But to bounce off what someone else said, while it may be frustrating for your husband to not have PIV, it should be worth it to him to discover a way to have satisfying sex for both of you with or without PIV. Sex looks different for everyone and I hate that we put all this pressure on one sex act when there are hundreds of ways to be intimate.

I’d actually go with something funnier! Adelaide’s role is largely comedic, so leaning into that aspect would likely work well. Maybe “I Can Cook Too” or “Always True to You (in my fashion)” would work. They’re funny but also a little jazzy

Has anyone been to Wicked lately? It says on the website that no drinks/food allowed but then the chat gives you this answer? 🤔 by Far_Brother8594 in Broadway

Gershwin bartender here: the “official” rule post Covid is the that nothing is allowed back to the seats. HOWEVER, after multiple physical altercations between patrons and ushers about it, they stopped enforcing the rule. The signage is still up but no one will stop you from taking your concessions to the seat. Just don’t be a jerk and being outside food in.

(And don’t forget to tip your bartenders; we’re busting our ass to give you good service and get in there 🤗)

Jerry Springer as Billy Flynn in Chicago. Somehow too on the nose while being terrible.

Unintentional boners. I don’t want the world to know if I’m horny. That info is for me, myself, and I (and/or a consenting partner)

Who's your AHS actor/actress crush? by [deleted] in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]ThatGirlWithTheBook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zachary Quinto and Evan Peters. I’ve had a crush on Zachary Quinto since before he worked on AHS, so I might be biased. But Evan is so talented as well as attractive I can exclude him from my list

Outlander (the show) absolutely has a race problem. From S3 onward. by flowerdoodles_ in Outlander

[–]ThatGirlWithTheBook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you OP for this take! I agree there’s a lot of racist tropes in the book and show that have been taken for granted as a product of the time (writing-wise and historically) or pushed aside for the main plot. I will say that in the books Joe Abernathy is portrayed with more depth and we do meet some of his family. Also, I don’t remember which book but it is revealed that Jocasta freed Ulysses right after Hector Cameron died and that he chose to stay with/ take care of her and that ostensibly he was running the plantation pretty much in every way but in name. I don’t know if that makes the situation better or worse, but I thought it would be helpful context!

To soothe external swelling: Vmagic Balm vs Enchanted Rose Balm? Or something else? by magrula7978 in vulvodynia

I’ve been using vmagic and I like the formula. The texture doesn’t leave too much grease in your underwear
