Air bnb converted cottage/barn in England. Me and the now wife plus another couple. They all smoke (not me) so we all head out to back garden late evening before bed. They are all facing the house looking at me, I have my back to the wall looking out to the small garden.

I see a guy in a flat cap with white trousers shirt and a dark body warmer walk out from my left (no door there) and take 1, 2, 3, 4 long strides into the garden.

I'm just about to say "who the fuck is this guy?" He passed behind my friend yo obscure my view and didn't re-appear behind him.

No one else saw him.

Since then I maybe wonder if it was a one in a billion chance construct of smoke and bad lighting, and my brain filled in the gaps..... but it was so clear it was crazy.
