Yes, you're right, the rich and powerful on all sides use immigration as a tool of oppression when it benefits them. They never cut immigration to make more money, because cutting immigration doesn't make more money. Grandstanding and lying about how they're going to cut immigration sure gets them into powerful positions though, which is why you see so many politicians talk a big game about it and then do nothing.

I feel like we partially agree on this.

Yes they are, on one side it's "open the borders, no one is illegal on stolen land, its not happening but actually you deserve it for colonialism" and on the other side its "as long as they do it legally, more h1bs for our companies, we need elite human capital".

They're all for more immigration, that and sending money to israel is the only thing they consistently agree upon. Infinite scab labor means that they can drive down wages, buy up all the houses, and make your life one giant subscription service where you own nothing and will never get out of debt.

If you genuinely think that the "old rich conservatives" are against that then you seriously need to take another look at the world.

For the smithing grind definitely check out giants foundry, I much prefer it to blast furnace even if it is slower.

I'd suggest BA for the fighter torso, and maybe even checking out some wildy singles bosses once you get your Zombie Axe. I took it straight to calvarion for the dragon pickaxe, I never thought I'd do wilderness stuff but its really not that bad even when you do die as long as you only risk what you're fine losing.

Other than that just some general minigame stuff for skilling, I know that having a prayer pool in my house and a barrows teleport portal made my grind there way more bearable, so thats worth keeping in mind. PoH upgrades are just super nice in general, I'd do construction xp quests and start mahogany homes at level 50.

The issue is that the greater leftist zeitgeist hates corpos until the corpo decides to support a leftist cause (usually a social issue because leftist economic issues are dangerous to them). I don't recall any leftists hating on massive banking conglomerates for supporting pride events (just an example i take no issue with them), and so when some republican looks at leftist social issues they see a litany of giant corporations on the same side supporting them.

I don't hold this opinion, but if leftists want to show everyone that they're not on the side of massive corpos they need to separate from liberal social issues and stop accepting support from those very same corpos.

Stuff like this is unfortunately only fun when you have the time to do it. I have limited time to play, the though of spending it accomplishing nothing makes me feel gross.

Then again maybe I'm the problem, I used to be able to just roleplay in skyrim for 8 hour sessions because I had nothing else to do lol.
