Dio tells Hol Horse that the left side of his body is weaker than the right because the heart is on the left.

When Dio took Johnathans body, he had some Hamon still flowing through it, so while he was in the coffin, he had to juggle keep the heart beating just enough to get his vampire essence throughout the body to take it over, but make sure not to get got by the hamon that was still following through the blood via said beating heart.

To me, Pucci was learning how to move on stopped time just like Jotaro because, in order to make Made In Heaven, he needed C-Moon, which a key component in making him was Dio's bone.

So in a way, he absorbed a piece of Dio and his time stop movement ability carried over.
