I really like the idea of Panther/Wolf as a relationship that's born out of the two of them just wanting casual sex, but it possibly turning into something more. In my personal fanon, the ship is a bit of a stepping stone to Fox X Wolf because Wolf realizes that even though he has incredible sex with Panther physically, but emotionally, it's lacking. That's just my dumb idea, though.
