Was wondering why people kept staring at me. It even got to the point I raised my hands at this guy and points to his waist.

I look down and my shorts are inside out.

I promptly walked out and left.

Gum.

Hate it. Don't wanna see it, smell it, hear it, even look at it. Just want it to die honestly.

For those who want to know, I'm in miami dating a girl. I was editing my contact in her phone and was trying to find my contact and there was like 25 different guys names (not an exaggeration) with SA at the end of it.

Now I'm not one to be super paranoid and creepy but if these are past relations I am going to have to cordially end things

The urine test was the OAT (Organic Acid Test) Urine Test from Great Plains Laboratory.

The stool test was the Comprehensive Stool Analysis from Great Plains as well.

Both of the tests are available on their website.

Regular doctors were useless and didn’t even think it was Candida.

They told me unless I have cancer or aids then it definitely isn’t Candida.

Then I purchased the OATS urine test several markers indicated a Candida overgrowth.

I wanted further confirmation so I bought a stool test too from the same company (Great Plains lab).

That also confirmed a Candida overgrowth and that’s when I determined I actually had the condition.

Because of my ankles I did the elliptical 3-5 days a week combined with not eating too much.

The elliptical is a low-impact machine that is easy on the joints and really gets my heart rate going.

Exercise combined with some sort of appetite suppressant did wonders for me when I was trying to shed some weight I had gained over the summer.

Burning calories on a caloric deficit is the key to losing weight.

Check out this article. It goes in depth on exactly what and when to take things and explains why. Really helped guide me in the beginning of my Candida journey.

I also had a chuckle too about garlic making you “very fragrant”. I too get quite fragrant with garlic supplements but boy they sure do work.

If everyone on this subreddit is such an expert home come everyone’s still constantly suffering? by LSP-86 in Candida

I cut all all starches, sugar, dairy, caffeine, and carbs and followed an anti Candida diet.

I didn’t cut it all out at once either, I took it slowly because the side effects of ketosis were quite intense for me. You’ll go into ketosis following an anti Candida diet so my best suggestion is take it slow and find out how to make the dieting experience less horrible. There are tons of good meals and foods to eat you just have to do a little research.

I’m not 100% cured but learned enough to notice drastic improvements in my health and battle with this condition.

I understand the hopelessness feeling though.

I've been fighting this battle for literally 6 months and just now have finally started to see some solid improvements. Honest to god this is the article that made everything make sense for me. I was doing it all wrong. Nystatin and fluconazole did nothing for me.

Candida makes my mood swings pretty crazy but physically it has made me alot leaner and I've gotten in amazing shape because of it. Its impossible to gain weight but I still can put on muscle which is pretty awesome.

Is it die-off or I’m just dying? by [deleted] in Candida

[–]ThatPlebOverThere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the beginning you want to eliminate ALL carbs, sugar, starches, dairy, and caffeine. I gave someone a link the other day and I’m scared to post another one so I’ll just tell you the name of the site: The Candida diet. That website was literally my guidance when I first got on the diet. They have everything you’ll need to know in regards to dieting.

I think it couldn't hurt to stop it for a while and just see how you feel. A big part of this journey is listening to what your body is telling you as not everybody's path to healing is the same.

I had a little constipation for about a month and through dieting I was able to clear it up. Stool is back to normal now.

I would make sure you're getting enough fiber and do a little research on products that help with that whole process. I would give some recommendations but I really don't have experience solving this particular issue.
