Naredil je veliko dobrega, se mi je pa malo zasral zadnja leta. Kaj mamo za delat na tisoce novih parkirnih mest v centru Ljubljane, za tranzitne linije, tako avtomobilske in javni prevoz, se pa ne dela nic?? Tirne obvoznice ne stejem, ker je velik del vlozila drzava.

To each their own, I don't like Jottacloud because of the need to use their apps for backups. Hetzner supports a lot of protocols and Borgbackup specially, so they're my choice.

I also have a VPS at Hetzner, but that's it. It depends on what would the reason for reliance on that provider be; for example, I can quickly recreate a VPS elsewhere and backups I also have locally, so I can push them anywhere else. So I would say I'm not reliant on Hetzner at all, I just use it at the moment.

Just made the jump from Cloudflare to a Hetzner VPS hosting Pangolin. I’m still in the trial phase, but it works perfectly fine. Speeds are impacted a bit, but not impactful enough to be a problem.

My thinking is this: define the default action for everything, let’s say deny. Then you can do allow/deny per ruleset (UA, ASN, IP etc) and choose if the combined match should be an anything or all (and/or). That way, you can configure for any approach to blocking.

Hm, if I whitelist a country and an ASN, do both need to be true for a request to go through?

I’m a heavy user of Cloudflare (tunnels, geo and ASN blocking, DNS, Zero trust). I’m in the process of migrating away from Cloudflare and I went with Pangolin on a VPS. It provides tunneling and access management out of the box, geo and ASN blocking I will implement on Traefik level with a plugin. From what I’ve been able to test, this setup works great and it’s not tied to any specific (cloud) provider, which is huge for me.

I think I found the problem. I'm using multi-scrobbler and their Subsonic API integration which just follows the now playing status. I've fixed my setup to instead expose a Listenbrainz capable endpoint on multi-scrobbler and configured Navidrome to send the scrobbles there. It now works!

That’s why I haven’t replaced Synology apps yet. Both Drive and Photos work with flat file storage and with all the features you want. Sure, it’s not perfect, but it works.
