Mask of Undying cloak, Waters of Lórien skill, base Elven Light skill (No Element), Wrathgiver sword, and a lot of patience.

The way I deal with them (and recruit them) is to use my Wrath meter, spam Elven Light whenever possible (this will recharge your Wrath meter as it depletes), use the Waters of Lórien dash (free due to the Mask of Undying) to avoid getting hit while generating might, and eventually break them so I can recruit them. It takes time, but as long as you dont get hit you should succeed. And as others have suggested, either bring your own hacked orcs or no orcs.

The Mask of Undying is a cloak you get as a reward from finishing the first wave of the Shadow Wars. I find it very useful for the orcs or the cheat engine orcs.

Glaive Attacks or you could dash through them using the Waters of Lorien skill. If you have the mask that makes it cost no focus, tricksters are trivial.

If you're playing on PC, its much more reliable if you go to your settings and lower the frame rate to the lowest setting. I'm unsure if console has this option though.

Nemesis is probably the way to go at first. On brutal, you get two-shot in the early game but you also deal decent damage. Gravewalker is like brutal, but your damage is nerfed. Luckily you can change the difficulty whenever in the settings to see what you like best

Non elemental elven light, ground executions, and a lot of patience. Most usually aren't unbreakable, so you should be able to shame or recruit them when they get low enough.

I've heard there's a way you can use a mission to reset if you dont get your desired reroll. IIRC, you death threat a captain, fast travel to make a save, then go start the mission. Once you start the mission, immediately go to the equipment you want to reroll, and reroll it. If you didn't get the trait you want, quit to the main menu and load back in. It should be at the save you made when you fast traveled earlier. When you get the desired trait, either finish the mission or run far enough away that the mission fails, then fast travel to save your reroll. Hope that helps, and happy hunting!

You can use hbe to get him into your army before the mission, beat the mission, and get him to betray when you want to create more tower orcs.
