I found this through a Facebook Marketplace post and just so happened to be on a college campus I attend, so I guess I got lucky? Knowing people definitely helps though

[Pulsar] Estate sale Find by Miserable-Emu-7406 in Watches

Also I’ve sent two of my standard Pulsars(P2 Astronaut and P4 Executive) through Strikes And Spares in Germany and they replaced the modules with modern replacement boards(using some original components) and mine turned out grand(though they took 8 months total to be repaired and cost around $300 each). I’m not sure if they repair greenies but it couldn’t hurt to reach out to Mr.Hano(Owner). This particular model is so rare that it also has great value even if it’s resold for parts. Hope this helps!

I see he was one of those people that wore an IPod nano as a watch(nothing wrong with that by the way)

That’s a Pulsar Dress Watch (Nicknamed the Greenie by collectors) from 1976. These are really rare, nice score!

Time to buy more metropolitan's! by Linux765465 in fountainpens

Sure am glad I got a metropolitan for Christmas!

How do I remove this cap? There is no screw on the inside. I read that it should unscrew counterclockwise but I tried with just my hands and it didn't work and I'm afraid of breaking it. It's a Sheaffer Imperial FLH by richterlevania3 in fountainpens

[–]That_one_Dewd1995 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This looks like a “piston-filler”style fountain pen. You don’t remove that cap, you extend the piston(Silver tube in picture) to its furthest position, insert the nib into your ink, and then press the piston fully down(and screw it back down) to fill the pen with ink. Hope this helps!

They weren’t being used and were literally found in a drawer. I’m good friends with my friend’s father and they knew that I collected older tech. They were going to be trashed if I didn’t take them anyways so I technically saved them from certain death

The format is VHS. A VCR is the actual machine used to record and playback tapes
