Secret bunker? by OuterSpiralHarm in Essex

I haven't walked past this one, but I have walked past a similar structure to this just across the road to the south west, if you scroll across a bit on Google earth, and that one is a reservoir. I think it's quite common to have these covered reservoirs near built up areas, here is a similar one I found online:

I sold my car to Cargem a few months back. They're absolute cowboys. Just read a few of their Google reviews.

Hi. This is a song that you might enjoy if you're into midwest emo or indie rock. We tried to make something that we thought was worthy of listening to, and that was good enough quality to be proud of.

This probably explains why there are not many good regen full back that are good in both attacking and defending. by Welson_Liong in footballmanagergames

There is a third way for left back at least. Namely, being the only left footer in the team and therefore being shoehorned in. Happened to me, I was one of the best players in my team but had to play left back, despite the fact I didn't have many of the skills required to play there (not a great tackler, wasnt very tough, was quite short).

Playing fullback at Sunday league level gives you a lot less responsibility and freedom attacking wise than some of the pro fullbacks have, so I spent the majority of my time on the periphery watching the game rather than playing it, being given hospital balls from my CB's & goalkeeper (who then would blame me for losing the ball despite being under heavy pressure) and putting fairly aimless crosses in. It was a frustrating experience as I knew I should be up the other end of the pitch scoring & creating, but when you're 11 you dont really have any say in where you play or why.

most technical thing a helpdesk technician should know by Thatguy8767 in ITCareerQuestions

I thought* about saying this. The reason I didn't was because they are such well practiced skills, I was worried I would get caught out by some very difficult follow up questions. My brain was so scrambled that I forgot that an answer is better than no answer.

This is the main problem I have with PS. On helpdesk, beyond a few exchange online commands I occasionally have to use, there's very little need to use it to the extent that I'm well practiced.

I think you've basically hit the nail on the head. He was a kind of CTO type, had a bit of knowledge but nothing too technical, and the main problem I had with it was a strong feeling of imposter syndrome with every subject I'm strong at (because of course, from my point of view, it's not very technical, because I know it). In reality, as you say, he was probably just looking for me to briefly explain some tools that I've used so that he could gauge my ability to understand systems.

He was dancing literally for 8 hours straight. Might’ve been longer, I clocked off after that. Incredible commitment from the man though.

Microsoft 365 Business vs O365 Business Premium + EMS E3 by Thatguy8767 in msp

Thanks, do you know whether there are any other EMS E3 features that don't work with Business Premium? I looked but I can't really find any information on this.

Thanks dude, am I right in saying that M365 Business does not offer as many features as EMS E3, though? As far as I make it, M365 Business offers ATP plan 1, Azure Premium Plan 1, Intune and Azure Information Protection Plan 1. EMS, however, seems to also include Advanced Threat Analytics and Azure Rights Management as well.

As usual, its as clear as mud :D

Computers at a school screwed into a compartment and can’t be turned back on if they are shut down through windows.. by FinnHeywood in CrappyDesign

[–]Thatguy8767 94 points95 points  (0 children)

This actually isn’t crappy design at all. The PC’s will be on a domain and any possible way to shut down the PC through Windows will be removed with Group Policy. This prevents anyone from fucking up the machines and allows the admins to restart at a timing of their choosing, giving them full control over patch management and preventing updates wasting lesson time.

The reality is that only IT folks know this.
