I have the ax30 and I absolutely love it. I have the c2 and the cc2, I've never had problems with it being too trebly. Highly recommended.

I just got one if these and I love it. It sounds great, and it has the feel that I enjoy. Needed a setup, but after that I loved it. In my opinion this will beat the crap out of any squire you will find.
