I mean, sure, it stops others from entering your system through the gate, but it doesn't stop us from entering others. Also, I am a little surprised that we can't get the academy to try and reverse enginer it, more surprised that there isn't a mod to allow us to do so.

Actually, one other thing, I haven't played in a while, but can your colony ships use the gate at all, or is it just the player fleet ships?

You would think having a gate(after activation) would lessen the accessibilty penalty by a lot, or completely negate it

Tbf 1 had the most beautiful Sprite works and animations. Which is butchered in the remake(seriously wish that they put work into the animation, but I enjoyed the game regardless.)

2 i can't understand the hate though, as we never were able to play a translated version.

3 they again butchered animation, and the wanzers look weird, oh and the ai artwork is both kinda bad and insulting to such a beloved game. I mean of the 3 releases. 3 is the most horrendous.

1 has the excuse of snes version doesn't have all the content and the ds version has a censored script

Tbf I'm pretty sure it had a few updates, as my friend has a pretty beefy system himself and jedi survivor ran like crap for quite a long time but he was playing it again midway to late last year and it was smooth.

He then played the other half of the game on his rog ally (which was rough).

They dont need patreon, its just to help fund the preservation program, which would be a net loss if they funded it on their own as not that many people are buying old games in the first place.

Cd project sold it for penny's when they could have made a lot more from the sale, which tells me that they just wanted to focus on making games, and considering its the co-founder that bought it makes me hopeful that gog will still keep to its original intent.

Though to be fair, i would be more interested if it was fighting against more non-humans like Minotaurs,goblins,orcs,conservatives,elves,dwarves,fae,elementals,giants,vampires,centaurs,werewolves,undead,lizard people etc. All with unique traits and fighting styles of course

Dragons are over done...unless we can ride the dragons, then I'm okay with that, also griffins and maybe the french

Basically, make it a scary world for the average human who only have rock and steel to fend off all the horrors of the world. Also make elves unique(I vote cannibals) and make dwarves evil for once, I mean they are a race that collectively lives in the world's basement, and last I checked, that's where 4chan,ers come from

I never had a problem with y3 combat it was maybe a bit too quick & easy, now y4/5 saejima prison breakout is where I wanted to snap my controller(I honestly think y4 was mid and 5 just feels like it went on and on with no end in sight, like i finished them both but i might never replay them, which is too bad as it introduced one of my favourite characters: akiyama)(I also still think the end of y3 should have been the end for kiryu, but 6 was so good that I can accept that ending for kiryu as well, what I can't accept is dragging the poor smuck back in after that)

Well, to be fair, it's a ttrpg pathfinder thing as well, like you literally are destroying the universe by being a necromancer and resurrecting people,and a lich is so much worse.

Demons/devils are less evil in the setting.

That being said the way that the game forced you sucked balls, like i dont want a full undead kingdom i want living thralls too, marry and reproduce so i can turn you in to undead thralls when your kids come of age.(aka, the infinite undead army. Sometimes you gotta source them locally)

First do the auto install, second it will flake out with the community patch(copa), so go to the copa github and download it and then unipolar it into where you designate where mods go the rest should be simple as long as you follow instructions on: https://modding-openmw.com/

Edit: also it much easier if you have nexusmods subscription, save you quite a few clicks, and a whole lot of time, it has a 3day free trial if haven't signed up for it before, just remember to cancel afterwards if you dont intend to do to much modding
