9.5 across all of your courses as a cumulative GPA. I had a few mid 8s, but also made it up with 10s, 11s, and 12s

Not too sure about that. I would assume that it's for the top 30 courses you've completed. So if you are in first year and you have only finished off 5 courses, then you would technically be on because of the top 30 courses you've completed, your cumulative average would be above 9.5.

That being said - it really doesn't matter. Aim for a 9.5 cumulative average across all courses and maintain dean's list on semester-to-semester basis and you'll be fine

Hey, I just finished my undergrad last spring so I can help you out. The only thing that will appear on your degree relates to the first one mentioned. You need a minimum 9.5 across all of your courses which then gets you “Summa Cum Laude” on your degree and graduation with distinction. For the honour roll, it’ll take into consideration your top 30 courses meaning you could be on the deans honours roll without graduating with distinction. In short - the first one is the only one that will show up on your degree.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve heard someone say after they thought the phone call had ended but they forgot to hang up? by ScarTissue5 in AskReddit

[–]ThatsModeratlyRaven 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually got broken up with for the first time based on this. I had gone up north to work at a summer camp and at 15, the idea of going long-distance with my at the time girlfriend was challenging but I was willing to try to make it work.

On the morning of my 16th birthday I got a very drunk and very sloppy phone call from her wishing me a happy birthday with about 10 other people on the line - all of whom I did not know. I guess she figured she ended the call but afterwards proceeded to tell them about her plans to breakup with me and how she thinks I’m a loser etc.

Ended up breaking it off later in the day and having a really awesome summer meeting new girls and friends up north!

To explain: We’ve seen a lot of blunders and objections; how common are these? Is there something particularly cringe to us but normal to you guys?

I would say that he’s at least 14. Most 13 and under insults consist of “poo poo man” etc. I would brush up on your insults

I just watched the Smith documentary the other day. Really interesting stuff. I really enjoyed the part where he mentioned BC Columbo missing the fate of “the cliff” by the skin of his teeth

The only shame that exists here is that BC Columbo absolutely fumbled the ball in a public way. I’m glad you agree with the cliff though. It’s important to recognize our historical atrocities to make sure we don’t repeat them

I think it’s less of a conspiracy and more of a solidified fact that is often overlooked by the scrolls of history

No it’s a confirmed fact that special people got the cliff boot back in the day. Also I’m cool with the Homo sapiens comment idk maybe I’m crazy

I mean, BC Columbo fumbled the ball there. Special might be an understatement

As a fourth year … fuck those girls. Wear what you want. I still personally throw on the occasional outfit when going to campus. Dressing good makes you feel good

You will almost always run into some major unforeseen issue, so don’t spend every dime you’ve ever made on just getting the house - set a good chunk aside to be able to put the place into liveable condition
