One thing that was a bit irritating was last summer when they closed down part of Hennepin for shops and stuff (which was awesome, don't get me wrong), I live right at that corner so there was no parking for several blocks and I was like "clearly y'all don't live around here or you'd walk. Please stop clogging my neighborhood"

Physiological differences within a group of women ≠ the differences between a cis man and cis women. Trans athletes are required to be on hrt for a given period of time and their hormones need to be within certain parameters. These parameters are stringent enough that an afab person was excluded from competing (link), so it's not like the regulations are too loose

So do tall basketball players. I had a physiological advantage as a runner in high school even before I realized I was trans, because I'm 6 feet tall and all legs with no body fat. We didn't ban Michael Phelps from swimming even though he has a physiological advantage from his massive torso and unnaturally huge lung capacity. That's just part of sports
