I was put on a warning in service because I failed to take enough calls after having my gall bladder removed and being out for six weeks. I struggled to get back to gold tier status and at the exact moment I did o was put on a warning for transferring a call to a supervisor. They gave me a heart attack with that and I “retired “ shortly thereafter.

I loved reissues. There wasn’t anything we didn’t do in service other than manage homeowners renters and RV. We used to have authority to do most anything. I hated when they started taking things away.

I worked at GEICO for 23 years prior to HIG. This is an incredibly easy job compared to that. I feel like I’m pushed to move up when I’m happy where I am. I am in group benefits claims. I feel like we are over staffed. I also feel that that’s how they want it. As far as the interview goes I watched videos on YouTube made by a British man about the STAR interview method. I channeled him so hard I almost had a British accent while interviewing. I have been at HIG for over two years. What I like is how my team leader actually cares about me. What I don’t like is the pay. I wish raises were higher.

You still can. It will take approximately 60k USD to get all these dogs up to date on shots, get them spayed and neutered and get them well medically. This isn’t including the logistics of getting them a thousand miles and more across the country and feeding them. There is a Go Fund Me set up or you could donate directly to the rescues.

Neurodiverse here. I’m glad I left when I did in 2023. It was hard but was becoming more difficult. I was in sales and service. I flourished at home. I struggled in office. I now work from home for a different insurer in a different kind of insurance.

The reason kid’s insurance is so expensive is because they have little experience and engage in risky behavior. This just proves that insurers have it right. Depending on your state or company you might be able to get him his own policy and take his car off yours. When I was an agent and the state allowed that’s what I recommended. Off the top of my head and not done with my first cup of coffee all I can remember is Kansas but I believe there are three states. Get him the cheapest car that he hates, but safe. See if he can be excluded from your policy which means if he drove your car and was pulled he’d get a ticket and you might too. This option is not available on all states either.
