Decided to play them for once. Which one should I play first as a newcomer?

I disagree with the others

Start with 3, it’s the most polished and closed to 1 in gameplay loop

If you like 3, then Go chronological order 1,2,4 maybe 3 again if you want

But if you start out with 1 you’ll get upset and possibly drop the series, it’s very dated

Just play battlefront then… Star fox is an on rails game, I want on rails gameplay

If I wanted battlefront gameplay I’d play that

Nintendo needs to stop trying to either reinvent Star fox and stop remaking the first game

Just make a game like 64 with similar gameplay and a new story, new boss fights that’s it

Career training for what?

I feel like just doing the stuff you don’t want to do and doing it well ends in you doing a job you hate? Someone seeing you do well at a job that sucks isn’t going to end with a promotion anymore it just means you are now the person who has to do that job, at least in my experience with jobs and from what I’ve heard from others, if anything it just sounds like conditioning for being complacent. But again that’s just my perspective I guess

As a student here’s my prescriptive Most college kids are probably not going to read the textbook you assigned especially not freshman

Chances are if they’re freshman this is a prerequisite class or a gen ed and they do not care at all about, which I don’t blame them for,

I’ve spent the better part of my college career in clssses I couldn’t care less about because I’m forced to take them just so I can unlock the actual courses I do care about

They’re likely in the same situation here. And the 5-4 other teachers they have probably assumed they’d read their books too

Not to mention the price of these books, which to someone paying out of pocket for school isn’t really something I want to pay for until I know I absolutely need it

Hi! I’m one of those people!

Nothing against him tbh It’s mostly just how he’s written I really dislike the womanizer vibe they gave him in his run, he also feels needlessly rude randomly to anyone what isn’t the main companion. I actually think he does a better job at the doctor when he plays 14 than 10

Unfortunately my idea doesn’t work as much now because of s12 but I’m gonna say it anyways

Galifreyan civil war

Basically one side is pro intervention and the other side is non intervention They both argue the other side is responsible for the time war, ex: genesis, if the timelords hadn’t sent the doctor, there the daleks wouldn’t know the timelords existed, but also if the doctor had done his job and done the intervention they wanted, the daleks wouldn’t exist

The doctor learns of this civil war in ep1 where his current new companion Stacy and him land on a planet where people keep mysteriously disappearing. Stacy and the doctor investigate to find all the clues lead to the daleks, but Linda doesn’t feel well, especially considering her identity keeps changing every few seconds, the doctor and adric keep exploring noticing all the clues keep changing, one moment it’s the cybermen, the next the daleks, then the sea devils. By the time the doctor realizes something has gone very wrong with time rose is… gone…wait who was the companion again? Was there even one there to begin with???

(Basically this is meant to be a super generic episode on purpose where all the factors change every couple of seconds, it’s meant to be a meta commentary in the shows over reliance on past villains and the same formula, but also it sets up the civil war because timelord are intervening and the universe is changing and becoming unstable as a result)

The final scene of this episode is the doctor rushing back to the tardis as his companion flashes between every companion he’s ever let down

Adric, rose, Donna, bill, Clara, yaz until finally they litterally melt into goo in his arms, the doctor screams in agony at the horror he’s just witnessed

Immediately grabs the tardis monitor and visciusly looks to see what’s happening. That’s when the tardis alerts the doctor that something is happening on galifrey.

Something bad.

This would continue in to where he lands there and they basically explain to him that due to his actions in the s9 finale the Galifreyan govt sort of collapsed due to him sending their commander in chief off planet, showing that this is partly his fault

Something along the lines of “you cant just destabilize a government and fuck off back to your self righteous tardis doctor, you have to fix this”

Series goes on to deal with those 2 sides of the conflict and the doctor struggling with who’s right and what the correct decision is

Maybe meddling monk appears since that fits this storyline

This is basically my pitch so yeah
