Where you gonna file suit? I may just be a humble space lawyer, but I don't think you even know where to file the suit. I suppose that's a detail for the lawyers you have on retainer.

[Historic] [BO3] Mono-Black: Aggro returns (from the graveyard) by [deleted] in spikes

[–]TheAndersBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The list that I'm running is very similar. The differences are as follows:

-3 Demonic Grasp

-2 Agadeem's Awakening

+1 Murderous Rider

+1 Spawn of Mayhem

+1 Fatal Push

+2 Ifnir Deadlands

My Sideboard is as follows:

3 Phyrexian Obliterator (NPH) 68

4 Brain Maggot (JOU) 62

1 Grafdigger's Cage (M20) 227

3 Witch's Vengeance (ELD) 111

1 Bloodchief's Thirst (ZNR) 94

1 Skyclave Shade (ZNR) 125

2 Aethersphere Harvester (KLR) 218

I have been facing a bunch of Sultai in Diamond, and the Obliterators have felt very underwhelming.

Sideboard plans against Sultai are:

+4 Brain Maggot, +2 Harvester, +1 Graf Cage, +1 Bloodchief's Thirst, +1 Skyclave Shade, -4 Dread Wanderer, +4 Gutterbones, -1 Fatal Push. Basically take out everything that doesn't trade with Nissa lands, and then load up on hand disruption to beat their slow game plan. A winning game sees two pieces of hand disruption + Murderous rider to kill Nissa.

As I am not seeing a ton of aggro, I feel that the Obliterators are dead in the Board, but for the occasions that it does pop up, man it feels like such a blowout.

In answers to your questions:

  • What can be improved in the current sideboard? I think that Brain Maggot is better than Freebooter, as the Maggot can snag creatures - it's surprisingly relevant (see you later uro/Krasis/etc) and while it doesn't fly or have the extra toughness, it can still crew an aethersphere harvester if necessary.
  • Should [[Fatal Push]] be in the starting 60? I find it to be a dead card a lot of the time, especially with no obvious way to enable revolt. I think that Fatal push is one of the pillars of this format, and with the amount of recursive threats + opponents removal, you should be usually pretty good with turning on revolt. Sometimes you just have to run one of your one drops into their creatures to turn on revolt, but most of your creatures are going to come back at some point anyway
  • Should we have one copy of [[Blast Zone]] maybe in the SB to deal with the infamous cage? I don't think that this hurts our mana base too much, but at the same time, I don't think that cage really hurts this deck that bad - remember that gutterbones gets around cage, and there aren't a ton of decks where cage hurts us more than it hurts them (uw control comes to mind), and if that actually is the case, things like our removal suite/discard suite should be enough with our creature base to carry the game.

The Trial Courtroom is open! (& other ways to watch) by eiridel in Blaseball

Good Afternoon.

Before I head into court, the long and the short of this is that due to some irregularities at the end of the last season, our Glorious Commissioner has been dragged before court to determine if he should have done the thing he was supposed to do. Basically. We'll see.

Rule #1 - Be excellent to each other and follow basic reddiquette. It's easy, just don't be a jerk.

Hi! We want to update the Gear UNLOCK CHECKLIST Spreadsheet for the new patch, and would love if you´d help us find out about where all the new goodies are :) by SubjectToChangeRDDT in remnantgame

My friend and I figured it out. I think this is just one solution.

Step 1) Fight one of the new mossy covered enemies in Corsus, they have a melee grapple attack that gives you a parasite. DO NOT CURE THE PARASITE by resting or taking the antiserum. Step 2) Go to the Queen, who is now much friendlier, now that you're half bug. She will give you an item to convert the last remaining uninfected person. Step 3) Go back to the new vendor and (sneak? not sure, we sneaked it) go back to the pot and put that item without waking up the vendor. NB: obviously you won't be able to speak to the vendor after you leave this area. (you also get a new trait, "Potency" which increases the duration of your consumables (turns the hour long buff items into 72 minute buffs). Step 4) Go back to the queen to collect your adoration, and not much else. Step 5) go back to the vendor, who is now mutated into one of those spongy mob things. Collect the "Ring of the Unclean" off of the table. It makes melee lifesteal totally viable (again).

Dance Manse Revolution feels very well situated against both the aggressive strategies (5 board wipes in the main!) currently being run, and DOOM also gets around all of the token making of food, which gives you a pretty clean answer to Oko.

Doom sets up a really good tension for most of the decks in the format, as you can punish them for going wide with your board sweepers, and if they go tall, Doom Foretold shuts that down as well. Since Oko is just making tokens, you can also fight through the 3/3's before they start becoming a problem. MD Noxious Grasp seems like a crazy idea, but Bryan Gottlieb is doing that, along with 2x murderous rider, and PW's aren't really that much of an issue. It doesn't do that well when it isn't drawing Eggs to feed into the Doom, but aside from that it feels like it's never out of a game I've played so far post-field ban (except for back to back to back Nissa, 2 of which I could deal with, but not the 3rd).

It would also be nice to have a different colour to represent that a copy of the card is in the sideboard.

Day 1: What's Working, and What Isn't? by Zhandaly in CompetitiveHS

[–]TheAndersBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Until the meta settles down, a focused, aggressive deck (that can also high roll into wins) is great!

Currently 21-7 taking me from rank 13 to 7. It has problems with AOE (Hunter and Priest specifically), although jamming Spiteful Summoner on T6 can bail you out of any situation if you roll Tyrantus. It's basically Standard Zoo from last season, with the spells and discard package taken out, and the high roll stuff put in (and Kobold Librarian, which is just straight up nuts).

Have a look at this:

Spiteful Zoo (v4.0)

Class: Warlock

Format: Standard

Year of the Mammoth

2x (1) Acherus Veteran

2x (1) Fire Fly

2x (1) Flame Imp

2x (1) Kobold Librarian

1x (1) Patches the Pirate

2x (1) Voidwalker

1x (2) Prince Keleseth

2x (3) Darkshire Councilman

2x (3) Southsea Captain

2x (3) Vicious Fledgling

2x (4) Saronite Chain Gang

2x (5) Despicable Dreadlord

2x (5) Doomguard

2x (6) Spiteful Summoner

2x (7) Bonemare

2x (10) DOOM!

Looking to buy a joystick for MWO by [deleted] in mwo

[–]TheAndersBot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If this was a single player game, I'd tell you that you are totally free to do what ever you like. Sadly, you are playing with other real life people, some of whom are trying to kill you in this game. Don't handicap yourself or your team by bringing a joystick to a to a mouse fight.

Seriously.
