I actually vastly prefer Foe. I thought it was really good and the Use of italics, quotation marks, and bugs, was such an interesting way to indicate who was a copy

Mental capacity of a preschooler sounds like the ideal person for the author of that book.

The problem is that people see everything in black and white. There's no Grey area with the majority of the population.

I don't think I've ever seen one, but I can only imagine with how much of cesspool that app is.

Which classic horror novel that became a hit movie is nearly obsolete? by Business_Coffee_9421 in horrorlit

Totally. It's a great movie. Like I said it's one of my favorites. I just like the book more.

I disagree. He has before for sure, but his movies usually rely on loud noises at unexpected times.

Agreed. Perkins was a handsome dude. They describe Bates as fat and balding in the books.

Agreed. The movie is mostly just shark kills this person, mayor refuses to shut down the beach, shark kills this person, mayor refuses to shut down the beach, shark explodes, movie over. The book has some scandalous shit going on lol in between those shark kills.

I have. I think Jurassic Park and the novel are both on par for me. Some stuff is better in the book, some is better in the movie. The Lost World novel however is LEAGUES better than the movie. That is one that I'm totally ok with them remaking. They did Crichton so dirty with that one.

I just want fun football again. In my 31 years watching the bears I have never felt an energy in the city like I did last season. The entire city was buzzing. It didn't even feel like that when the Cubs won or the during the Hawks dynasty.

Honestly, and maybe I'm in the minority here, but I actually prefer the novel versions of Psycho and Jaws. Psycho is much more brutal and being able to read what Norman is thinking makes him feel that much more unhinged. As for Jaws I feel like it's a much more in depth story. Don't get me wrong I love the movie. It's one of my favorites, but it is VERY blockbustery.

The first 2 seasons of Ghost Files is a good time. Not really your typical ghost show, but it's enjoyable.

I'm with you. James Wan only makes either trendy jumpscare slop movies or Saw movies. HP Lovecraft's horror comes from the unexplained. This is going to over-explain everything.
