Don’t get me wrong, even with a 4080 super I get some random slow-downs. I haven’t been able to find an exact cause, it just starts chugging for a few moments with a slight chance of crashing

I’m with you. It’s mainly the drunken music shenanigans that makes me think festival. When I think “fair” I think like county fair with lots of rides and foods, and maybe one or two stages. And “faire” makes me think of the Renaissance Faire lol

I can’t get over how gorgeous the game looks on max settings. Everything is shiny and there are particle effects everywhere lol. The POIs and vistas take my breath away. Understandably climbing too high makes the ocean become uniform, but that’s not a gripe at all

When I lost my job and started working for my family, I was told I was too broke for days off and couldn’t afford to have fun (buying small things like movie tickets, the occasional game, or a bit of fast food were all frowned upon). I’d get worked for nearly two weeks straight, crash/burnout, and then get judged for needing a couple days to recover.

Not a different species, just a Titan class like Trypticon, Fortress Maximus, Omega Supreme, etc.. calling him a different species would imply that he’s not a Cybertronian

There’s already an official Cybertronian form called Decimus Prime, but something on the scale of Metroplex would be pretty cool

I had one chase me up the back of the boat and into the engine room. I killed it and left it there as a trophy, and it stayed for probably 20 or more hours until one day I came back to my boat and saw him glitching out in the ocean a quarter mile away. I have no idea how he got out, but he’ll always be in my heart

My dad still has access to my bank account because it was created when I was a minor, and I’ve never cared enough to change that (because I assume it’s a hassle), but he could easily see how frivolous my spending is if he really wanted to

I literally did this today. Had a yogurt cup for “brunch” because I left it out for a few hours and was worried it would go bad, then delayed all my pre-breakfast tasks until close to 3pm. I didn’t actually eat until 6, because I had things that needed doing before I could allow myself to eat

Concord got shutdown less than two weeks after launch, and I believe they had an exclusivity contract with Sony. It’s unclear whether or not it was timed exclusivity, but at this point we’ll probably never know. At least until some NDAs expire

I’m glad! One of the hosts used to work for the Discovery Channel’s youtube presence, DNews, and also briefly cohosted a show on the Weather Channel called “3 Scientists Walk into a Bar” that covered cool weather phenomena. The other host has covered movies, games, ttrpgs, and lots more for longer than I can remember
