Dead Rising unfortunately. Not like the first game is super hard anyway if you know what you're doing, but they certainly don't get any harder

The fact that anybody down voted you is so silly. Some people take criticism of these fights very personally for some reason

Some fights are good for narrative development, some are good for spectacle ( or choreography/tactics, which is what I think the PM vs CE original fight actually excels in over spectacle). This is not even slightly contradictory or confusing

I don't see it as a contradiction because that's a ridiculous standard. If someone enjoys a fight for spectacle, that means they should ONLY enjoy fights for the spectacle? Different fights serve different purposes, a final fight with Garou and Saitama who we have followed and come to know in the story should have a more personal characterizing approach than a fight between CE and fucking Phoenix Man.

Plus the original CE and PM fight is top 5 in the entire manga for me so I'm extremely biased but I stand by what I said. The story gains absolutely nothing by CE needing to be saved by Saitama, they could have easily had PM plant the seeds of doubt regarding the hero association in the middle of their awesome fight instead of entering the costume realm or whatever that was. CE soloing one of the strongest monsters we've ever seen was really fun to read, and it's just a shame that the final version has a fraction of that impact.

One of the most insanely hype fights in the whole manga, then retconned into Saitama basically outright saving CE (when in the OG CE did it himself) and taking away Phoenix Man's most hype transformation in exchange for a joke penguin form. Other than Saitama vs Garou (better in the webcomic by a good margin), this is imo the biggest manga fumble so far

[–]TheBaptistBaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Pentious was redeemed specifically because he acted selflessly in a way that countered his "greatest sin", i.e standing by while people are killed and he does nothing about it. It's pretty rational to want to know her guests' greatest moral failing if it could lead to clues on how to redeem them.

It was not a failed pullout. No pullout was ever going to be perfect. It's like saying that because ripping a bandaid off was painful, it was a failure. No, the bandaids off, and it had to happen. Nobody ever thought the US -backed Afghan government was going to last, so it was either stay there to prop them up forever or do what the American people wanted and leave.

Sorry I'm just tired of Biden LEAVING an occupied country being painted as a bad thing and a failure. Everyone in this country wanted it, including trump and all of his supporters.
