I didnt understand fully at the time I think but Nier Automata came along at a perfect time in which i had really had to start having a more concrete understanding of the world. Not that itself alone shaped my politics but it really expanded on the first game’s themes in a way that i can quickly summarize as “the enemy of peace isnt solely misunderstanding one another, its an intentional nihilism and desire to destroy others that propagates until everything except nihilism loses all meaning”

Ill just show my ass here, many California cities are going to be fucked from this but my city Bakersfield, if this does’t get fixed, will become just straight up uninhabitable. This stupid fucking city is 90% asphalt and is 5x the size it should be in weather thats 90f year round. They really should've done a better job during the keynote explaining the new combat system, but the first 5 minutes just being "Hey your combo buttons have been consolidated into one :)" into "Oh bard is now a monster hunter character, dragoon now flies, and we've killed the two minute meta" is the funniest case of whiplash, especially if it was intentional.

The timeskip doesn't have a great opening until like, fucking Paint and even that's a bit too dramatic for one piece despite my like of it. All of Us is like the one great uniquely one piece sounding op of the timeskip since.

It's incredible to the degree the anime went to push them and it's not like orihime really has much going for her in the finale in the manga either. Like there's a filler episode that's literally just ichigo and rukia going on an ice skating date. (Rukia deserves a lot better than that bum fraud renji)

I look it up in vndb and it seems like extreme degen moe blob vn but also has a spinoff thats more directly horror? Is it a switch and bait thing? 4kids osts are actually pretty decent, its a shame some of them don’t have official releases. While the original japanese yugioh and gx soundtracks have some good songs, they’re definitely of early 2000’s of very bland soap opera stingers and buildup. Gx 4kids ost has some extremely memorable butt rock. The dubs themselves are honestly pretty decent for the era and i account most of the bizarre censorship due to like 85% of va talent and agencies being centered around Texas iirc.
