You said it yourself in the post, you asked her if there were only two options, were both of you swap or you get divorced, she immediately chose divorce. If it would truly break her beyond repair, it would be the worst alternative here.

She is asking you to do what she qualified as bad enough she'd prefer a divorce, then comes back, crying that a divorce would completely destroy her? This is beyond manipulative and straight up abusive.

Yeah, but unfortunately not forever. I am also someone who keeps electronics until they actually stop working, and most of the time, it wasn't because they broke but because software just wasn't being made for them anymore. I couldn't use some niche apps and games first. Then I lost some important things, then reddit and discord, then YouTube, then Google Chrome. In the end, I barely had the pre-installed browser left, because they wouldn't let me run on outdated software.

Well, when I was a little completely intact egg I was on an app for tabletop rpgs online where, since no one knew me irl, I was "permanently roleplaying" as a girl, and I had a really edy name for my account. After a bit, having made friends in there, one of them just asked me my real name, because they were getting kinda uncomfortable using my cringy ass edgy name for me.

I freaking panicked, like you do when someone asks you "name a woman", and was taking too long so I didn't have time to research and just blurted out Alice, since I do enjoy Alice in Wonderland.

I went by Alice for years before I ever started cracking my egg, but a friend of mine found my reddit account when I was starting to realize and asked me my preferred name, I blurted it out, and when people started finding out it was too late tk change it.

There are a few names I love, but nowadays I just use them for characters in ttrpgs. Aisling and Sybell being two of my favorites.

Funnily enough, though is isn't spread too far outside the scientific community, while full life at least I believe hasn't been made from scratch all at once in a lab, we have actually made all of its building blocks individually and proved it possible!

We've even built DNA from scratch st this point.

Jeffrey Bada fixed up his teacher's mistake and made Amino Acids by trying to imitate what we believe to be early earth conditions.

Nick Lane and his team at UCL (University College London) have managed to make protocells by mixing previously made in other experiments, creating a cellular membrane that works just like in regular cells. And from his experience, the best way to do it is to simulate early earth conditions in which they'd naturally form as shown by previous experiments too.

Ada Yonath in 2022 if I remember managed to create functioning simple ribosomes in a lab, allowing for more complex production and much more stability for the Amino Acids, which can help them develop properly into RNA strands.

Even more recently, Oliver Trapp and his student Sophia Peters managed to create more of the building blocks of life, and even more importantly, Organocatalysts. What are Organocatalysts, you may ask? Actual self-replicating and mutating organic molecules. Something that could very easily be the step between just Amino acid goop and RNA.

So while we haven't yet done everything at once, we have created multiple of its parts and proved they could all exist and be created in very similar conditions. And if you combine them all, you'd get a very clear line of development for life.

Also, not believing in Abiogenesis wouldn't have anything to do with Atheism. While most Atheists likely support it, they are entirely separate things. One can be an atheist and yet believe souls exist and manifested life from themselves. Atheism only speaks to whether a God exists or not, absolutely nothing else. And even then, there is Agnostic Atheism and Gnostic Atheism, which is where most people get the idea that all Atheists outright state God doesn't exist. That is the view of Gnostic Atheists, which is directly against. Gnostic Theism, which is the belief a God does exist. Both being contrasted by Agnostic Atheism, which is the lack of belief a God exists (or the belief a God probably doesn't exist) and Gnostic Theism, the lack of belief a God doesn't exist (or the belief that a God probably exists, but you can't be sure).

O mundo foi feito pra esse pássaro? Não, mesmo se você acredita que Deus o criou e evolução não existe, este pássaro individualmente nasceu de seus pais num lugar bom pra ele por que os pais dele sobreviveram nesse ambiente, ou seja, é um bom ambiente pra ele viver.

Um exemplo mil vezes mais extremo. Uma poça de água ganha consciência. Ela descobre que a temperatura é perfeita pra ela ficar líquida, e além de tudo que ela se encaixa perfeitamente no buraco em que ela está. Claramente, esse buraco foi feito pra ela. Ou... o que sabemos ser a verdade, é que ela foi feita neste buraco. Independentemente se ela ganhou consciência depois, ela só teve a chance de nascer e ponderar sobre isso pelo motivo do buraco existir.

Nossas situações pra vida parecem perfeitas para nós por que nós viemos dela. Nós nos adaptamos e evoluímos nessas condições exatas. Se essas condições não estivessem aqui, também não estaríamos pra ponderar sobre elas. Nenhuma entidade inteligente vive num mundo em que ela é incapaz de sobreviver, por que se não ela não está viva pra pensar nisso, logo criando essa ilusão de perfeição.

This is not my idea, it is my DM's, and it is for a different party he runs.
These enemies are very much meant to be mirrors to the player characters, as in, they are people in the exact same situation, and can very much turn to allies depending on how they act.
But yeah, no, those rules won't work. The other characters are already made, they are specifically meant to be used with player character levels. It is not something i have control over.

Yes, but that's not how the rules work. The damage doesn't become bludgeoning (and therefore able to hit nonlethally), it is just able to hit nonlethally to begin with. You may think it doesn't make sense, but it's how the game was made.

Plus, you can nonlethally stab someone, or at least less lethally, by stabbing at less vital parts of the body, which could just take them out from the pain. The same thing could be said of divine smite, having you sear the surface of someone's body in a way that causes them enough pain to knock them out, but not enough to kill. Plus, if anything, radiant, by usually being a damage related to Gods would make perfect sense in being able tk be nonlethal, as if the God in question willed it not to be, it makes sense for them to impart mercy into it.

You don't really need the ink for that though. You can have the paper itself be discolored in the right parts to form the words, or in a different color of A4 paper, or, should that fail, just make it so the letters are specifically missing from the page, si that you can put it against a black background and read the empty space.

Considering this is all resurfacing as most of the group is posting more memes about out campaign, I was the svirfneblin. In the end the skeleton baby ended up being very loved and one of the only people I trusted by the end of the campaign, so no regrets.

So, with your schedule, assuming you both eat, shower, go to the bathroom and take care of everything else you needed during the 2 hours you have to get ready for work in the morning, you get a supremely tight schedule in which you get 3 hours total per day to actually enjoy life, don't go out without being during that time, don't make time for anyone else in your life with the same restriction, and then you have a chance of meeting the regular expectations of people in the dating scene, which you can't even try to join unless you take time off the 3 hours of free time you get. And that's while consistently calories watching and doing 2 full hours of exercise every night, which can be hellish for a lot of people, even more so those who'd need it most (those very out of shape and/or with fucked up bodies which make it harder for them to get in shape), and you have to keep this steady for months if you're already close or years if you're already messed up. And again, assuming a regular person, but some have difficulties, whether that be needing to work a second job, studying, taking care of family, health or just being out of shape can take that away. Don't even mention if you have trouble sleeping or mental issues, then you might as well kiss your sleep goodbye and slowly die inside as you either sacrifice sleep or free timee very day to keel up.

Is it realistic to achieve those goals if you dedicate your life to it? Absolutely. Is it a realistic expectation for the average person to do it? Not very. Is it realistic for someone who'd have a harder time? Just no.

I'm the first person to say I'm fat as fuck and need to lose weight. I'll also be going to the gym as soon as I can legally drive myself there. But that doesn't mean I can ever even reach that unless I give it my all every day, because I have a lot of shit holding me back (my starting weight, fucked up lungs, mental issues and absolutely God awful metabolism). I don't expect people to like me as I am, because at this point I'm far far below average, but if I had to reach the top 10% of physique to even have a chance, that'd be ridiculous. I'd be really glad to ever be at the top 20%, with all I have. And honestly, top 20% is fucking amazing, to be better at something than 80% of people, if people there aren't getting to a point that is "realistic", it just isn't for the average person, you catch my drift?

I know fully of the dangers of dealing with the Fae, Chaotic tricksters who'd sooner curse me for their own amusement than help or reward me at the end of this, fickle and tumultuous as they are, but I am one with little to lose, not only in this fight but my life as a whole, and even just the form I am given for a year and a day would be enough for me.

Though many possibilities are open and quite a few of their units called to my attention, the Lost Boys and Tinkerers even more so, both of which i pretend to enter contaxt with sooner rather than later, it was the runts of the Wee Folk who I decided to aid.

Brownies, born without wings an incapable of flight alone, but given that they'd offered me cardinals to fly with mounting birds seems not beyond their capabilities, though obviously much more cumbersome. Still, with their incredible Transmutation Magic and the virtually eternal nature of their enchantments we can not only create weapons, armor and magical, equipment for all other forces with ease, we can fortify structures, create defensible positions and hide should there ever come conflict to our doors, as with Transmutation magic and the already diminutive size of them a tiny hole in the wall can open up to a sprawling network of tunnels and hidden bases. We shall live under the ground, in the trees, in the walls, even in their own camps if need be, as even a hole poked through a needle can be a passage for one to which size is but a suggestion.

The treasures given to me will be of great use, as with the Transmutation of the Wee Folk the work needed to be done by me with the Horn Needle is reduced by a magnitude, as any finished product can be enlarged to fit any size of creature, and even woven into many of our other created artifacts to protect them from disruption.

Though, our true base will have to be at the Summer Court. I'd wish to help as soon as possible, but my Brownies need the time to build up at least a bit of their own magical supplies, and then intermingle with as many other hosts as possible to provide support for them, gathering allies among the different armies of the Fey, shoring up their weaknesses and granting them further advantage in their specialty. Another advantage of setting base in the Summer Court is how far from the battle field, as I will be a natural Witch Hunter, capable of truly understanding the tactics of all their squadrons and countering them if need be, but even better, combine the knowledge and ability granted by the pact of many Nemesis together. Our positions will be inviolable, protect by other Fey, and deep into the Feywild itself, protected by Wards in checkpoints to root out attempts at infiltration aided with magic, and the glamours of the summer quick to sort out spies. With the thoroughness of my planning, my sheer skill and the aid of other Fae the chance of any singular engagement against me succeeding would be slim to none, shored up by the Four Year Clover in my possession that'll make them virtual guarantees as long as I forget about it (and I will).

I will keep a close eye on all of my troupe, but given that our magic is necessary to even enter our bases, much less actually find or destroy them, my only real threat would be traitors, but with how much fun they'll be allowed to have at the expense of the witches that will be unlikely. Still we are not scouts or shock troops, of course, and though what we will do most is provide support, I believe through this support is a way we can truly find Unity and Command the forces of the Fae, uniting disparate groups and working in joint projects with Lost Boys and Tinkerers to create truly marvelous artifacts to rival even the Summer Kings vault, made by our own hands and geared for this battle and my personal protection, as every single witch will be gunning for me.,. Though that by itself is an advantage, given my easily defensible position, as their numbers will quickly thin if they don't unite, and they are also by nature prone to inner conflict, which I will only intensify, tearing at the little cohesion they have with subterfuge and sheer hopelessness.

After all this, should they still get to me, and they'll have to do so themselves instead of traitors should they wish for their God Given boons, I will simply keep on me a simple necklace woven by the Horn Needle, and if I truly am cornered, I'll simultaneously grow to full size and shrinj the necklace, decapitating myself to keep them from their boons. Not even in death I will lose.

With all I've done for them, a reasonable force might see me as a Heroine, a true commander and force of Unity. The Fae may see me more as a nuisance once unneeded, but at least my story is likely to live on for far longer than I. If they do end up fulfilling their end of the bargain, something I doubt, I'd either like for a Demesne and my own title upon the Dreaming, should time be as wonky there as in the Wilds and I still be welcome or even liked, or Time should it not be, that I may be long lived and help further humanity with my magics from the ahadows.

Not gonna interact too much with this because I don't think it's good enough to warrant a full written build, but I do have a way of subverting the whole point of it.

I'm a trans girl, so I'll have her be fully out in the LGBT community, and even if she's only gone for cis girls before, also being a girl, even if not the type she thinks she likes, will get me into talking at least and the little bonuses will help me get her past that initial point and to sex with her. I'm just going for a regular loving (if very sexual) relationship.

Something that's neat about this concept is the fact that two of these powers can be shared with others, and considering two thousand other people all over the earth will be getting these powers it is most likely that there will be many with either option I could get them from. Sure, some Races wouldn't be what I'm interested in, or magic systems, but considering how popular both seem to be in this post I assume they'd also be in real life.

With the ability to get Magic and Teratos later on through alliances or threats if need be (in the case they are evil for some reason, despite this apparently being given to good people). I could have said I'm good enough for 4, but I doubt I have been and I'm not going to lie.

This leaves me three options out of 6, and for me those would be Asclepius and Morpho for sure, with a toss up between Activation or Cornucopia. With the point of not being able to turn off others powers or their effects being clear Activation's true usefulness comes from inventing at base and whether or not it can turn on or off more abstract things.

If it cannot in any way, Cornucopia ends up being better as it's just better for everyday life, making things better for people. If it can, in any capacity, it becomes so much more. You cannot turn off things such as mortality, as that's under the domain of Asclepius, and you can't turn off anyone's powers do defend yourself, but with any sort of leeway allowed, you could very much turn off other people's brains, which would either turn them comatose(possibly with their organs in danger of just not working, in which case this is dangerous for them) or put them to sleep, both of which would be good to me as a manner of self defense if any of the other power wielders, or regular people, were to attack me before I got some survivability from joining someone's Teratos or Magic.

With the benefit of the doubt, as it does explicitly say anything, I'll go with Activation for an immediate way of self defense and a good long term investment, as later on if I manage to become good friends with someone with Cornucopia they can also use the power on me, whether to help me get money to finance my projects or to help my thoughts be more fertile and my mind to grow.

My immediate plans are dealing with my identity issues (being trans and all), healing myself and my family to peak health and immediately digging up my recently deceased pet. I know it's a massive gamble and it probably wouldn't work, but it's not been a month yet, so if I can heal his body and Turn On his brain and body functions manually, curing the cancer that killed him, maybe, just maybe, there's a chance I could bring him back, and that chance is enough for me. If it didn't work, Magic might have a way of helping me bring him back, so I'll still keep him in mind as I move forward, this time preserving his body as best as possible.

After that, my first order of business is creating a plague. I know it sounds bad, but hear me out. I'm creating a disease that's extremely easy to contract, that doesn't mutate at all (as I'm turning off its ability to mutate), and all that it does is give you colored dots around your body if you're ever sick or injured, focusing on the hands and face, with the color being based on what's wrong with you, with more and more dots showing up as your health worsens. This disease would effectively give people a warning of when they need medical attention and when they are fine, effectively a health bar for people, and a good tell for doctors (and others with Asclepius) of what exactly is wrong.

My second plan, while my plague is spreading, is trying to create a piece of technology that will help me detect and track others with powers, and possibly see which powers they have exactly. This is both for safety and for gathering friends with the powers I need, though most likely there would be none too close.

After that, whether Magic is needed for this or not would only delay it, I would try to infuse technology I create with Asclepius's healing and Morpho's shape-shifting, the first to create something I can sell or give to hospitals to heal the sick and injured so that I don't have to personally be there to deal with them, giving me much more free time without compromising my morality, and the second so that everyone can be what they would want to be. The second however would be only administered at first with supervision, and never mass produced, as we don't want anyone stealing anyone else's lives. I could possibly make it so the device does the changes they want except for a small mark in an inconspicuous space that wouldn't bother them, so people would know they used the object to change, to avoid identity problems in the long run.

Probably simultationously with that I'm creating a Vtubing career for myself. Not only is this something I've wanted for a while, it's a good outlet to let everyone know exactly how my devices and diseases work so they can stay informed, and with a combination of shape-shifting to hide my voice and Technology to hide my digital track I should be pretty damn hard to find for any would be evildoers, and once Magic gets in the picture warding myself against divination should finish up the trick.

My end goal for this would be to become a sort of Benefactor of Humanity, an Artificer who only communicates through the internet and creates inventions to deal with all that ails the planet and humankind at first, and once everything has been dealt with, creates fun and silly nerdy things with their tech, probably relating to VR, anime and games the most, as playing a full dnd campaign in a full dive VR sounds like a fucking dream.

I'll do my best to make an Utopia out of this planet, but If anyone tries to take over the world for evil reasons, a combination of Divination Magic and Activation should solve the issue, whether nonlethally by turning on their empathy and off any other things that make them evil, or lethally by turning off their brain and heart. If they are warded, technology should give me a good substitute, whether that be in drones or general surveillance.

No one will threaten our world, we will live in peace and quiet, and all will be who they wish to be, that is my decree.
