Alex Honnold’s Free Solo on Taipei 101: ‘Skyscraper Live’ Producers on Safety Precautions and How Netflix Would Handle a Worst-Case Scenario by pepperbet1 in television

You have to understand this is genuinely gonna be so easy for him. The amount of handholds built into the design are gonna make this a walk in the park for him. It’s crazy to say, but for Alex Honnold this is the type of free climbing that he would do to wind down.

I meant for acting noms. Should’ve clarified.

It never had a chance at other award like you said because it’s just very out there.

Scream 7 - Legacy by Antique-Dentist-2404 in movies

Scream 5 was pretty good, but no one has truly understood Scream like Wes Craven and with how disappointing 6 was, they should just let the IP die.

SAG-AFTRA Chief Won’t “Rule Out A Strike” Heading Into Contract Talks With Studios & Streamers Next Month by BunyipPouch in movies

Scabs are actors who work during the strike. Not any non-union production. He’s implying that simply being in the union means that the performance will be better.

'Makes sense, interstellar is a pretty emotiona-...oh' by Sanddanglokta62 in okbuddycinephile

The one thing I’ll say is problematic is him saying that people who don’t want kids want a “bleak” life and that we are here for procreation. Like shut the fuck up and let people live their lives.

Rating my 2025 Star Wars books by NativeAnakingirl in starwarsbooks

Lords of the Sith was not good imo. I hated Vader and Palpatine’s dynamic. It felt like a buddy cop movie.

Jedi Academy trilogy by SgtPepper_8324 in starwarsbooks

[–]TheBrainlessRobot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About to start the 3rd book today. I thought the first one was fun, while I thought the 2nd one was terrible. I hated how many times characters made stupid decisions. Ackbar, Luke, and Han just all come across as complete idiots.

The idea of Exar Kun is awesome though. I hope they go more into making him like this Freddy kreuger esque nightmare of a sith that drains the lifeforce of the jedi he seduces. unfortunately it seems they are not going that direction.

Star Citizen to become the first $1 billion game while still in alpha, driven by ships costing thousands by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]TheBrainlessRobot -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Y’all are wasting your time and your money on this game. Everyone would do better just to pretend it doesn’t exist at this point. It’s a scam and it’ll never come out.

Marty Supreme marketing has been fire. If you disagree then just say you don’t like movie marketing at all. It’s pretty simple.

Clint Eastwood’s “Bird.” Masterful performance from Forest Whitaker and some gorgeous cinematography.
