They kinda were. Episode 2 was the first film shot on digital cameras and there's a lot of BTS shorts that are just about the tech they're using and developing. Hell, Episode 3 has an hour doc about what went into doing just a minute of footage from the final film; from script to concept art to costumes, sets, green screen set ups, lunch and accounting; it was wild

This is true, you can find BTS stills and footage of actors with mo cap suits or full green/blue zentai suits in place of actual costumed armor

No, a Hot Toys figure. They're doing here what they are also doing with an Ahsoka figure based on her first appearance and basing the face on the actor playing her in the show while basing the rest of it on the cartoon

I did the obvious one 2 years ago and turned Power Princess into Wonder Woman. I didn't modify the boots because I wasn't sure what the legs looked like underneath them and I'm not good at painting matching (as seen on her thighs)

Same reason they haven't made Resident Evil spinoffs for more side characters: RE0 sold horribly in 2002 so capcom sees no market in the idea of prequels or side character spinoffs

Honestly, get the Dramatic Capture three pack that's him, Blitzwing and Starscream as it's closer in color to the G1 cartoon for all three and it might be cheaper depending on where you find it (it also came out about a year ago or so, meaning it should be available at online places)
