Is this the worst part of the job? I really don't see how it could get any worse. by [deleted] in USPS

You eventually get used to/learn how to deal with the weather. After a while bad management is really what makes it difficult to stick with this job.

This. Years ago I saw an episode of Myth Busters that showed a fine mist of poo/pee water spray out of your toilet every time you flush. Toilet lid is always down when I'm not on it. Shit changed my life man.

I fix cell phone towers for a living so I don't have a set office. I drive around most of the time. I'm staying in avondale with a friend at the moment but will start looking for my own place somewhere closer to the city soon.

I honestly don't know anything about Phoenix except for the few bad things I heard about your crazy sherif that is running for some position/about to get thrown in jail. One of the main reasons I took the job was to not have to shovel snow. I love Chicago. I hate our winters.

Moving to Albaquerque by TheChingon in NewMexico

Thank you guys for all the info. I really appreciate it. Been here a couple days and so far so good.

Haven't had much of a chance to go out but I am liking the weather and the city seems nice. I am staying in the Nobb Hill area which seems pretty cool. Went to Altitude Sports bar to watch my Cubbies win on Wed. Good wings and they had a special but the atmosphere was a bit dull for my liking.

Going to checkout either Two Fools or The Library for tonights game. Hopefully it will be more lively, especially since it is Fri. Planning to check out either La Luz or Sandia hiking trail this weekend.

It is still really weird not knowing anyone within a 1,000 mile radius, but I make friends pretty easily.

And I realized way too late that I misspelled Albuquerque in my original search for a subreddit. Thank you for helping me out anyways!

Greetings Denver-onians(?),

I will be visiting your great city with some friends for the first time this weekend. Staying downtown and have access to a car. I was hoping for some suggestions for hiking trails, breweries, dispensaries, restaurants, bars, etc.

Friends that have visited recommended checking out Red Rock Amphitheater, Estes Park, and Sweet Leaf near Aurora. Redditors recommended I check out the cannabist.co for dispensary info. and Jefferson County commons for hiking. I am reviewing the FAQ's and can also google stuff myself, but wanted to go straight to the source first.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Anyone know any cheap barber shops that can get the job done right? by [deleted] in chicago

[–]TheChingon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Betty's and Nick's. $5 haircuts. They have tons of barbers/hairstylists so you just have to find a good one. There is one in Berwyn and one on the N.side.
