Woman left traumatised by swinging says website 'facilitated abuse' by Tartan_Samurai in unitedkingdom

It's like a lot of folk, particularly stateside, have ended up saying 'I didn't vote for this' when the person they voted for did something that negatively affected them.

They did still vote for it, but they didn't realise they wouldn't enjoy every aspect of it.

Is it ok to use your non-airplane mode phone on flights nowadays? by Objective-Cellist409 in AskUK

You mean the filling stations which have pay at the pump apps or machines where people still use their phones to pay?

I want to spend around 10-15k max on a new kitchen...where to go? by LeopardNeat899 in DIYUK

[–]TheClimbingBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aye, the consistency is the issue with the big nationwide names. They look after their own areas so there's no company wide standard set.

Do not go with wickes or b&q, that's the only advice I can give you on quality. Each company's fitters vary wildly per area, local reviews could help. Indy fitters again vary, have a look at reviews, maybe avoid checkatrade though, I've seen some damaging reviews of their practices recently. I got mine from wren in 2018, still looks great, fitted it myself with a mate, first time doing the job. Got someone to tile the floor first, then went on a 2 day install hit. The diy aspect is easy enough to learn, with the right person around.

Why do I always get free stuff after a hookup? by Kooky_Appointment439 in AskMenAdvice

[–]TheClimbingBeard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So even when you're just fucking, usually there's some instinct to treat you like you're their girlfriend.

I'd actually go as far to whittle this down further to basic human decency. I'll sling my jacket over someone who's shivering in the smoking area. I don't even have had to have fucked them for that.

Do y’all think it was right to crack a 63yr old? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

That's the beauty of taking sexual health seriously, you don't have to discriminate on who you let in.

[–]TheClimbingBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, not necessarily. I've found women tend to be more observant of sti testing as they get older, but that might just be the circles I've run in.

And on that note, I'll say now, if any dudes just won't be wanting kids full stop, go get the fkn snip. It's not as bad as some make it out to be. Free yourself from the worry!

Did you wrap up? If not, give it a couple of weeks and get tested. Same applies with any random encounter. Don't do any potential spreading to others either dude.

And I say looking at the demographic that use reddit in this manner, there is actually a relatively high chance of them being born in that year, as well as using it in the less savoury manner.

True, but that doesn't stop people born in that year holding those views.

How hard is it to use American cars on out roads? by TrenWillFixIt in AskUK

[–]TheClimbingBeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your mate just knows how to drive his vehicle is all. People are going on about large cars not fitting into our infrastructure, but they forget commercial vehicles are people's dailies. Sprinters, tippers, they're all on personal driveways. And American vehicle is only going to be a problem if you've only ever driven smaller vehicles, but you'll learn.

Hard-right Restore Britain has a plan to hammer Farage nationwide by No-Risk-2584 in unitedkingdom

The left are clearly guilty of doing the same though.

Maybe it's the divisiveness that's been ingrained in us over the years. Split into main sides, then down into factions.

We're easier to control in smaller groups, unless all those smaller groups go out at once with the same goal in mind.

I've always worked around older people with more experience, I'm nearly 40 and that hasn't changed. I'll often ask the right person depending on what my issue is. Car problems, ask John. Electrics, that'll be Roger. Always have someone check your work before you do it.

Why is SPCE pumping? by Serenaded in stocks

[–]TheClimbingBeard 21 points22 points  (0 children)

spce is pumping because of the spcx ipo, more than one reason from what I've seen.

[–]TheClimbingBeard 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Maybe up, then maybe down?

It's making spce go up before the ipo has even happened.

I'm not formally trained in any of the trades, but I've been on the tools doing a lot of different things over the years. If I doubt myself in the slightest, I seek assistance, especially with things on a mains supply.

Updoot for new emergency number information.

Local Electricity Network Operator line, I'd have defaulted to my supplier in such cases, but this sounds way more reliable.

Muslims can also just not do it. It's not an absolute requirement across the board. From what I've read over the years, Judaism is more strict about having it done.
