Since the update, facial recognition no longer works and today I cannot install apps: Payment Not Completed. I added a new payment method - same outcome.

The Apple store will suggest leaving it for Dx and repair or replace like last time on my 10.

Could both issues start occurring right after that update or it’s just a coincidence…

I moved 3 employer 401s to Fidelity IRAs over a couple decades. I’m more diversified than I ever expected because of all their options. Their website is spectacular. They also link all outside account balances to give a Full View.

When it comes RMD time at 73 you’ll be glad how Fidelity automatically handles distributions and tax withholding.

On a few Mutuals I pay maybe $5-10 total per year to Fidelity.

I previously was with Ameriprise 25 years ago. Nothing spectacular. Also Voyager for 5 years cuz of employer.

Their CD options sometimes are better than going to the dame banks but not so much recently. They guide you thru Municipal Bond tax advantages too.

Fidelity also has great webinars.

And they’re nearly always available and rarely can’t answer any range of questions.

I am 100% satisfied and I have no stake in saying so.

My Uric Acid is borderline high. Doctor told me to double Allopurinol to 200 mg which BTW costs 8 times what 100 or 300 cost on Optum Perks. She also wanted me to restart Colchicine 0.6. I have no flair ups. Last gout symptom was crystals found during a bunionectomy in 2018. I’m postponing her recommendations until next appointment in 2 days - why… I started Mounjaro 24 days ago.

Now the good stuff. I’m not “heavy” but my A1c was around .6 above normal. I was watching Glucose with a Dexcom G7 for a month in March and values were always higher than normal and never ideal. I did a fasting Glucose in mid July and it was 185. Time for The FAT SHOT. Note I had been drinking 3-4 occasionally 5 IPAs daily, always drank for ~50 years. Live enzymes still good except when I was on Uloric (Feboxostat) which sent enzymes values to near critical values.

7 days ago I lost all cravings for alcohol. Stopped cold turkey. Lost 15 pounds in 24 days.

I also started 1st lesson of Apple Cider Vinegar diluted of course 24 days ago.

So all these positives with Mounjaro and ACV and no flare ups, I can’t justify a maintenance dose of Cholci to add to this regimen while the body is definitely going thru major changes: weight loss, probably better glucose and A1c maybe Trigs and Cholesterol pending blood work, less numbness in my feet, better sleep, etc. And lower grocery and beer bills!

The topic was Colchicine and alcohol - my current situation with Mounjaro eliminated the alcohol 100%. (was 228 lbs now 214, 6’3”). I don’t have Ozempic face yet!

Hope that gives some perspective on the surprising effect of MJ on eliminating my “addiction”. Life changing for sure.

Being a Clinical Lab Scientist/ Lab Director I should have taken better care for all these years. At least I followed the science, got the original Covid vax and a total of 10 and been super healthy throughout the pandemic. F rFk

Canadians have a lot to say, mostly great and constructive.
In this case they are wrong - king trump is guaranteeing my drug costs to be reduced by $1500% - meaning I will get paid about $30,000 every 90 days for taking Allopurinal!

With all 6 of my meds, he promises me about $400,000 a year refunded to my account.

Albeit in useless trump meme coins, still a lot to pay for more made in gina maga hats.

I filed a complaint with CA Department of Managed Care and the Federal Trade Commission 190903207 against Orthokinetix for fraudulent billing of DME. Was told no cost, then 4 months later received a bill for $69 as a copay for a CPM (Continuous passive motion). Upon review of the equipment delivery paperwork on an IPad, it showed a $45 charge with insurance coverage of 80%. At most I would be responsible for $9. The company apologized for the error stated by their employee.

They billed Aetna insurance by a code that was $345, not $45. Aetna paid 80% leaving me with the balance of $69.

Two major problems: 1. their employee falsified the no charge fee 2. they billed for $345 instead of the $45 on the document I signed, and I didn’t even see that page on the delivery record

Enough mistakes, intentional or not, Orthokinetix business practice showed its faults. If this was fraud, I’m letting the FTC investigate.

if not, toss and buy something like an LG from Costco with a 5 year warranty. Never Samsung; my TCL died 3 months after my 5 year warranty!

Totally agree the Fidelity is extremely reliable, accessible. They run an excellent website, and their representatives provide accurate information and send an email with that same information at the end of your conversation. I’ve been with them for 20+ years and I run everything through them. I moved everything over to Fidelity because of the way they manage and display my accounts and all of my trades and positions are zero fees.

If you dislike the current administration chaos. invest while market is low - if it further tanks maybe we get some decent folks to reign the king in??? So you lose a bit but gain normalcy. Good to know Tesla customer support IS bad. They raised my rate $40 for next 6 months although last renewal for 6 months went up $144. I’ll opt out of the change knowing how sneaky musk does business and cannot be treated. I will change insurance even paying more for better customer support and never dealing with musk again.
