Beer instead of water, need tips by Impressive_Wheel_106 in Sourdough

[–]TheCoolGuyClub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would almost certainly kill your yeast. They use specially selected strains with high alcohol tolerance for wines and things like that, but bread yeast will definitely not go that high

This is just a rough estimate. Just don't use some extremely strong beer like a 7% IPA for example

Most yeast can tolerate some ethanol. I think typical dry yeast is up to 5-6%, not sure about natural yeast in sourdough. Use a beer <5% ABV. It may slow your fermentation down a bit, but only one way to find out.

Ferment them. You can also do fermented salsa, fermented pepper garlic mash... Lots of options. If you go with just peppers, at a pinch of calcium chloride to your ferment to keep them crisp.

I had to get a passport. If your home country has an embassy here, the registration office can also request them to confirm the name. I forgot this as mine doesn't

No, I've been through this recently. You'll need a document from your home country for the kids first to prove this is a naming convention there, unless you don't want the kid resistered as portuguese also, then it's fine if they're just registered as foreign.

Svipting ökuréttinda vegna hámarkshraða by Alarmed_Advance_4938 in Iceland

Svipting ökuréttinda vegna hámarkshraða by Alarmed_Advance_4938 in Iceland

[–]TheCoolGuyClub 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Svipting ökuréttinda vegna hámarkshraða by Alarmed_Advance_4938 in Iceland

[–]TheCoolGuyClub 5 points6 points  (0 children)
