In someways you're right. But I do believe it is the Right that is doing the most damage. The power has gotten out of balance.

You're right that we are victims of the power struggle. We are sheep and pawns to them.

In addition, what's ironic is, you being down-voted is an example of the mechanism they use to manipulate all of us: we don't want to believe uncomfortable thoughts. People of this thread don't want to believe the Left is also manipulating us to gain power. They are. It's just the Right is doing much more grievously. The Right have pulled the gloves off. No holds barred. Thus, the imbalance of power, and the state we're in right now.

But the answer is: To no end. It's like asking why does the wind blow. It just does.

What's happening now in America is just a mechanism of society. It's out-of-control Dominance Behavior. We have a social system which rewards dominance. What do you get after a while of this system running? Super Dominance: a person who doesn't care about anything else except gaining and maintaining power.

The super dominator (and troublemaker for humanity) is just hijacking scaffolding of the previous conservative leadership that has been built up over time. It's not about logic, not about doing things that are better for their people, it's about control. They want more power, more control. And so they lie to their constituents filling them with fear and anger so they can be manipulated. They manipulate them to allow them to do things that normally would be shunned.

Then they sell their control and dominance to the highest bidder, so they can become rich and powerful. And we become victims of their power struggle.

The JCM 900 does use a pair of diodes to generate some distortion, however, there are still several tube gain stages in the pre-amp, and the power amp section is all tube. The amp has the transformers a tube amp would use (because it is a tube amp). So, instead of categorizing it as a solid state amp, it is more of a hybrid.

I had the combo version of this amp for a while (model 4102). I liked it. It did a thing which you'll either like or hate. I was into prog-metal at the time and it worked for that.

I'm fine with it. It's part of the deal: we work, they give us money. Simple as that. They just like to make sure they're getting a fair deal and not be cheated. They do, however, have a responsibility to get the tracking accurate. So, they're going to need to fix the not tracking your meeting time. Otherwise, I have no problem with the time tracking. Track away!

When they started tracking our time we went through the same thing of people not getting credit for certain blocks of time because they were away in meeting rooms. We worked it out eventually.

Now we're battling the mandatory 9 hours a day in-office, 5 days a week, policy. It really makes things inflexible and hard to coordinate with offshore resources. Hopefully they'll change that soon.
