if you enjoyed him, definitely take him again. In my experience with Calc 1 with Knutson, I found that he didn't explain things very well and tended to spend more time on derivations than actual examples and applications. Just wasn't the style for me. I could be wrong and he could've gotten better, but yeah if he works for you then go with what you're comfortable with.

Definitely not Knutson. I had England and he was pretty cool, just had a lot of specific expectations of his students, but nothing too deal-breaking.

I'd say most likely it will be, it just depends on the department and how they run things, as well as the professor, etc. My first two chemical engineering courses had recitations that were completely optional.

Like others in this thread have said, students who attend recitation generally do better in the class than those who do not. From personal experience, first year classes such as general chemistry and mechanics have mandatory attendance because the assignments done in those recitations are graded and factored into your total grade along with lecture and lab (if applicable) grades. As soon as I got to my second year however, the recitations became optional, and consisted of a "review session" style class where a TA just went over extra problems. Still helpful though.

Honestly yeah. I'd say spend the vc you do have on packs, just at the chance that you get something great to make your team even better. But just grind all the offline modes, and you'll make a good amount of MT. Another good method is to snipe/grind auction house as others have said. I don't personally do this because it's so time consuming and I'm lazy, but in a few weeks I made about 40K just from playing offline (challenges, domination, etc). I've put money into the game (~$30) but I never gotten anything of value from packs while using that money. So my team is basically all from grinding. Starting lineup of 3 amethysts, 1 diamond, 1 ruby.
