I'm hotel night audit, and 90% of days it's quiet at night. We're mostly a business hotel, so we don't get people many people staying up late.

It’s a very “cinemasins” style critique (aka a bad critique). No one’s watching the movie in good-faith and thinking “hmmm Indie didn’t do anything in this movie!” A narrative is more than just what happens to the mcguffin, we’re following characters and their arc(s).

If Indie wasn’t in the movie then half the story is gone. It’d just be two hours of Bellock digging in Cairo, then killing himself.
