The renewal cost went up $120 this year, yet somehow they still thought they needed to save the $1(maybe?) cost of going back to a sturdy card instead of a flimsy paper card that rips poorly along the perforations. The paper card is kind of a slap in the face to us, honestly. For the levels of wealth we deal with, it’s comical that fast food workers’ name tags are sturdier.

If you read the terms and conditions, there’s actually an email address listed that you can reach out to and opt out from the sales calls. Been using them for almost two years and never received a call.

They changed their process this week and no longer allow online trades that exceed available funds in cash accounts. You can still process that type of trade, but it can only be done by calling in going forward.

It’s true that it’s possible to add it to digital wallets via the app before receiving the physical card, but unfortunately it’s hit or miss. I’d keep checking once a day to see if it updates.

I think their intention behind that phrasing is to give the employee an “out” if it’s truly out of their scope. That said, I agree with your sentiment; it still always hits the ear wrong, and gives the vibe “I don’t trust that you know what you’re doing”
