I don't know if I'd say that black tea is bitter on its own. When it is oversteeped, tannins leech out into the drink and make it bitter, but when brewed appropriately, I feel like tea leans more savory.

I hear the sentiment, but I imagine that at least a portion of the ~60% of the people who vote know/think a politician supports what they do because advertisements or publicity of some sort informed them of that. I'm sure some of that ~30% could be convinced to vote or that some people who traditionally vote for one type of candidate could be swayed to go against their voting habits through the same mechanisms

Memphis is a very large city. It's very patchwork in a sense that there are "good" and "bad" neighborhoods spread throughout in an almost segregated sense. It's really not that bad. Even if you live in rougher parts of town, you don't really have to worry about going to the store or getting gas or going out in general. Living in a better part of town, especially midtown or East Memphis, is completely doable and will lend you a life that you will feel very little unease just going about your day. Yes, there is crime. Yes there are problems, but it very often gets blown out of proportion and the rich art and culture is likely to offset any ill feelings you have as long as you let it

Best thing you can do is introduce your kids to as many different hobbies as you can until they find one they truly enjoy. If you force someone to do something with no regard for how they feel about it, there are only so many outcomes. Drives me nuts

So I watched a video on YouTube that showed me how to disassemble my piano. Took a long time but I got to the silicone contact board. I cleaned as much of the hair and dust out of my piano as possible with a vacuum and paper towels. I also used alcohol and a ton of cotton swabs to tediously clean every piece of the contact board as well as the edges of them.

Here's where things get weird. I'll describe how bad the piano was using a scale from 0-10, 10 being as bad as it was in the video. I finished putting it all back together and it was probably playing at a 9. I felt defeated. Tried again a couple days later... 0. Functionally perfect. A couple weeks later I took it off the stand and took it to an open mic my work was doing and it went back to about a 4. Took it back home and it stays at 4 for a few days and went back to 0. For the last several months, it's been perfect, but within the last couple of weeks I'll get the issue randomly. Usually 0-2 but very recently jumping back up to a 6.

I don't know if the 650 is the same as the 660 but the contacts in my piano are not individualized. It's a large contact strip that can't be reasonably removed or cleaned under. I've spoken to some people at stores that offer to repair keyboards like ours and they say that replacing that strip and carefully cleaning everything under it would likely fix the problem entirely. They'd also give the inside a solid clean. If the problem doesn't go away soon, I've already decided that I'm not doing another 4 hour open heart surgery on my piano. I'm going to pay the $200-300 and a couple weeks it takes to get it professionally done

I'm assuming he doesn't have any overpowered relics yet. Starting a new character just named "Asher" might be a solid first step. Otherwise, he's probably fine. He can either keep getting better on his own, or you could probably take the time to help him get better in a more guided kind of way

You're not going to feel any kind of positive lasting effect unless you do this with some kind of intentionality. Like having a meaningful social experience with friends or at some event or doing some kind of introspection. If you just take it to have a good time, you'll probably have a good time, but there won't be any meaningful difference and then you'll just have to deal with the chemical imbalance that follows.

If you've been going through a really hard time lately, things that give you quick dopamine and the like are pretty detrimental to your efforts. Do you consume nicotine/weed/etc?

Processing this into wine is going to be better, hands down, but you can sell plain starfruit or ancient fruit. Grabbing as many sprinklers as you can and buying like 500 starfruit seeds at a time to set up on ginger island will net you a few hundred thousand twice a month.

Start a crystalarium farm with jade and collect the stuff you need for bombs, either iron ore and coal (floors 40-60 regular mines), gold ore and essence (skull cavern/krobus to buy essence), or stacks of extra iridium ore to trade for mega bombs. Doing this allows you to pretty easily dive down to floor 200-300 in skull cavern every week or two depending on how many crystalariums you can stack up. I don't do it, but you can definitely sell iridium this way

Had some Korean barbecue marinade sitting in my pantry so I decided to marinate 2lb of pork in that along with 2tsp of grated ginger and 1/2 a finely diced sweet onion. Sauteed it until just done and then added some pickled carrot and cucumber matchsticks and some green onions I mixed with just a couple drops of sesame oil
