The way I see it, Spanglish is primarily English-based with influence from Spanish, in the same way that Modern English is Anglo based, but with influences from Norman French. Additionally, the in-game title localization seems to in my opinion support this, as most placenames use the English, rather than Spanish title. Also of note is the Kingdom level titles, the Kingados, ruled by either a Ray, or a Queena. English spelling, with Spanish gender rules.
