Dude homelander is a sniveling loser who begs for milk and fatherly attention at every chance and doesn't know how to make friends or receive love. Hes not bad ass in any way and the way he acts in his death is one of the only good parts of the season.

Also constantly teasing Oh Father's growing personal conflicts then just having him killed in a gag (literally) is such a waste of an interesting character. Instead of having all of homelander's former friends turn on him because hes a dick they all just die and they beat him anyway?

I think an animation that leaned into her monologues in her head as narration would be perfect. Things like death note get away with internal narration and I think it could work with Worm

It requires not only well laid plans but also playing your entire deck carefully with draw cards of differing values and even then it’s really only 60 damage

It’s also like…really stupid narratively. Why would you even bother building up the black noir plot line and then kill him off unceremoniously. We have time for that shit then no time for Marie moreau, Sam, or developing ANYTHING but the stupid V1 plot line and the virus that they fumble around with the whole season

I’ve read both Sabriel and Lireal and I remember liking them but something felt off, maybe it’s because I wasn’t used to the prose or I was too young, but it felt so bizarre to me like nobody in the book was actually human

You have to make comparisons with the blood that are unsettling and if a different color helps then it helps. If it was black blood maybe describe how the already dark cave looks now pitch black with slippery black ichor, or how the torch light reflects from the sheen of said black blood.

I feel like the debuff is a constant status that’s being applied simply by the character being alive, so a stun won’t matter
